Device not unapplying policy

I have a device that’s enrolled in Autopilot and Intune, but it keeps applying an old configuration policy even though the device/user group is no longer assigned to that policy.

I’ve already tried wiping the device and even waited a few days for sync/replication, but the issue is still happening. I’d prefer not to remove the device from Autopilot if possible.

Has anyone run into this before or know what could be causing it?

When I do my first upvote for the day, the little streaks thing (don’t know what to call it, but it is the little streak counter that shows up when you do the first upvote of the day) doesn’t show up, but it counts my streak.
