I've been looking for this information all over the Internet and the answers vary from source to source. If there's anyone here with any tips, they would be highly appreciated.

I am looking at booking some plane tickets that include a layover in the US - this is however not my final destination. The layover options are between 2h and 20h. I have a couple of questions regarding this:

• For this kind of travel, and if I do not plan to spend more time in the US, do I need a C1 Transit visa?
• How long is the transit visa valid for?
• Is the US Visa Integrity Fee mandatory also for a transit visa? Or does that apply only for Tourist and other types of visas?
