Air Con stopped working (Hottest day of the year in the UK!)

This morning, the air con in my wife's Mazda 5 was working perfectly, blowing ice cold. I just drove the car again to pick up the kids from school. Air con worked fine on the way there (impressively cold, I didn't want to get out of the car lol). Parked up and turned the engine off. 5 minutes later, start the car again and there is just warm air coming out of the air vents.

The A/C button is lit up. Climate Control is in Auto mode. I turned it off, waited 60 seconds and turned it back on again. No change.

I cranked the climate control temperature setting up to the high setting and it started blowing out hot air. I turned it back down again and it is still only blowing ambient temperature air.

I've used Forscan to collect engine data that I think might be useful. Unfortunately, I don't have any baseline data, because I didn't think to grab it before the problem started. I'll link the screenshots below. No relevant errors in any modules.

I've had a look in the engine bay, the accessory drive belt appears fine, no weird noises from that area. No obvious fluids anywhere that I can see.

Does anyone have any suggestions about what I need to do?

For it to suddenly change from working to not working, I presume it's not a leak of refrigerant (It would have gradually got worse over time?). So I'm guessing it's something to do with the compressor?

Verifying mileage data

I currently own a Ford S-Max and I'm about to go and buy a Ford Mondeo. I am wondering if it is possible to use Forscan to verify that the displayed mileage is correct.

I'm aware that Forscan only allows users to increase the displayed mileage, but I'm also aware that it's possible to pay unscrupulous people to put a lower figure on. I don't know how they do it, but there are people all over the various forums offering the service so I assume that at some level, it's possible to lower the displayed mileage.

I pulled data from my S-Max using Forscan. Under "Vehicle and interface information", on the "Configuration" tab, Forscan shows a bunch of data from each module that it was able to read.

The "IPC" (Instrument Panel Control Module) shows the Odometer milage, which is exactly what I would expect to see.

However, I noticed that a few of the other modules (PCM, BCMii, SASM etc.) show a "Total Distance" figure (which on my car exactly matches the Odometer value.

What I'm wondering is, if a car has at the IPC modified to show a lower value, what are the chances I'd be able to spot a discrepancy by pulling data from the other modules?

Grateful for any input you guys have on this topic.
