Question on Houston’s rap scene.
Hi everyone! I’m making this post because I have an uncle who entered rehab this past June, and we’ve all been incredibly proud of the progress he’s made on his road to sobriety.
Unfortunately, his facility doesn’t allow residents to have phones or access to the internet. My uncle has always been really into Houston rap and loves keeping up with our local artists and everything going on in the scene.
We have a pretty big family, so this upcoming Sunday is finally my turn to visit him! I thought it would be fun to put together a little newspaper update for him with everything he’s missed in the Houston rap scene.
I was considering updating him on the Lil Durk case, but I’m not even sure if he listens to his music. I know he’s always kept up with our local rappers, though, so I’d love to hear about any major news, new music, beefs, controversies, upcoming projects, or anything else interesting that’s happened recently. I, myself know nothing about the scene. 😅
If y’all have any suggestions or remember any major moments in Houston rap that I should include, I’d seriously appreciate it! I want to make sure he has plenty of catching up to do when I see him. Thank y’all so much!
