Demo Transfer - New Charecter
So they say they will let us transfer our progress from the demo but im guessing if we want to make a custom charecter, that feature probably wont work. Anyone have better insight on this feature?

Echoes of Aincrad is a good game, but it has the immense potential to become either a truly great co-op story game or a standout MMO.

Playing through the Beta, it’s clear that all the right pieces are already in place; they just need more time and polish. Visually, the game looks great (all things considered). While the combat is functional, it still needs work. My biggest gripe is enemy tracking: when you dodge an attack, enemies don't carry through with their momentum. Instead, they snap-focus instantly back onto your character. This makes a well-timed single dodge feel worthless and forces you to always dodge twice—which is far from ideal in a game where stamina is constantly ticking down.

I’ve broken down what I would love to see this game become into two possible paths:

Path A: An Excellent Co-Op Story Game
The game could leaning heavily into what it is right now but opened up for additional players. Let everyone create their own unique character, clean up the combat mechanics, and send it.

Path B: A Full-Scale MMO (The AAA Dream)
Alternatively, the game could be reworked into a seasonal MMO. Drop the main storyline and launch with 20 floors, with the ultimate goal of reaching all 100 floors through future expansions.

Each server could hold a set number of players working together to progress without dying. To keep stakes high, a player death would lock them out of that specific server, encouraging them to jump into a fresh server startup the following week.

If going the MMO route, I belive it would be very important for developers to build out non-combat "job classes"—like Blacksmith, Miner, Alchemist, and Runic—and let players level up by mastering their craft. A robust crafting and trading economy is a massive draw for modern MMO players.

The Bottom Line
Echoes of Aincrad is good right now, but with the right direction, it has the potential to be great, and worth the price they're looking for.
