Shortlisted twice in a month. Any HR here? Help pls. :)

Hi everyone! I recently applied for a role at a tech company, but my application was unsuccessful. I completely understood the outcome because, in hindsight, that specific role wasn't a great fit for my skillset.

Shortly after, while skimming through their open positions, I found a different role that perfectly matches exactly what I do in my current job. I decided to reapply, and to my surprise, I was shortlisted again.

Here is my concern: the gap between my first application and this new one is less than a month, and the exact same HR recruiter contacted me. Now I'm anxious that the shortlisting was entirely automated by AI, and that once the recruiter realizes they just rejected me a few weeks ago, they will drop my application.

Is it worth exerting the effort to pursue this, or is it highly likely I'll be rejected once the recruiter remembers my past application?

TIA!
