How much of a difference do Linux zram compression algorithms actually make?
I’m using zstd, but based on what I've read on Reddit and around the internet zstd seems to be the most commonly preferred option Why is that? Do the other algorithms have any significant advantages or not? Why aren’t they used as much? What did zstd get right compared to the others etc. ?
