On the surface it is a basic research base, built around the Angel Comb. There is a section for scientists with living quarters, a break room, tadpole bay, storage room, power generation, and fabrication.

Though as you go towards the main observation part of the base, things get a little strange...

You will notice how on the corridors surrounding the tree, the windows only face inward. If you enter the restricted observation section things appear quite liminal. Generic safety posters plastered everywhere, the only furniture all oriented towards the angel comb tree, no real signs of life.

And when going to the top floor that is deemed management only...you find that the base is completely overseen by the NoA.

And then a bonus section built on top dives into the madness and obsession with the Tree. Maybe there was upper management at one point, observing and tree and the scientists work? But where have they gone?
