An umamusuko inside what looks to be his work office, was Black Tide.

Looking almost identical to his father. Red eyes dead, white stripped bang, buff and grumpy looking. Wearing a black muscle shirt and shorts.

The only major difference is him having a long mane similar to a mullet tied in a high tail. And only likes tea.

He seems to be in good spirits.

"My name is Black Tide. And today, I’m going to vlog my daily life as a father."

Non copyright solo guitar music plays in the background.

We hear the cry of a baby on a crib. Tide approaches the child with the camera viewing half side of his body. Before he carried the child on his arms.

"After retiring from racing, I took in stud duty to create new progenitors."

Note: If you see highlighted words it’s Black Tide speaking.

"Hey hey hey, why so upset?"

In his arms, we see a baby boy who looks like a carbon copy of him.

"But today, I wanna take a different job away from stud duty. By learning how to be a dad."

Wearing infant clothing. He rocks him back and forth to calm him down, it worked for the first try before the baby starts crying again.

Tide sighs before calling his wife for help.

"Honey, could you get the bottle. Kita won’t stop crying."

"In a minute~"

And the grand reveal we’ve been waiting for, Kitasan Black. A descendant of the late Sakura Bakushin O. And the grandson Sunday Silence as the next generation of umas who will dominate the track in the future.

And this tiny colt, has been wailing for a while because he was hungry. Luckily for him his mama was just preparing a bottle for him.

"Aww is my wittle baby hungy? Mama’s got you~"

Baby Kita gets carried by his mother and feeds him the bottle.

"It’s not easy to navigate that path, but I’m glad my wife Sugar Heart is there to teach me the way of being a good father."

"Would you like to hold him?"

"I’d like to."

This is Sugar Heart, Black Tide’s wife. A descendant of the late Sakura Bakushin O. Her features were highly identifiable to PD Kitasan Black. Just with deep dark brown hair, pink eyes and irises replaced with hearts. She is an incrediblly cheerful easygoing carefree umamusume, but when it comes to children she is excellent in motherhood.

Sugar was wearing a simple short sleeved shirt that covered all of her somewhat massive mounds of meat, with tight jeans that showed quite the "cake" she’s packing, and child bearing hips that was covered by her apron that had the words "Number one best mom in the world" written on it.

And she is teaching her husband how to be a good father.

———————————————————————————

FEEDING

"Whenever my son start’s crying, it usually means he is hungry. Babies consume 1 to 2 ounces of milk. But because Kita is an umamusuko. He consumes more than the amount of a normal human infant."

Kita begins to wail again which means its his feeding time.

"I got it, hun."

"Make sure you prepare two bottles for his big appetite."

"Yeah, I know."

Tide begins to prepare the milk for his son, as we watch him pour lukewarm water and mix it with a drop of three scoops of powdered milk. Before shaking the bottle to mix the water and powder.

We see a camera view of Tide running upstairs, before switching a new POV to Kitasan’s crib.

It was like every other infant’s crib. Normal and a comfortable utility for the baby to sleep in. Unlike theirs when they were kids, they’d always have their cribs themed. Be it space, science, sky etc.

"I got you little boy. Stop whining."

Tide picks up baby Kita and begins to feed him the first bottle of milk. After calming him down with the first bottle, he feeds the second bottle and begins to rock him back and forth.

And slowly, the child begins to fall asleep once more.

"Feeding the right ounce of milk will give them more sustenance to consume, while they sleep it out."

"Phew… thank the three sires (goddesses of the PD world) he fell asleep…"

"Did you do it?"

“Yup. He dozed off."

"Aaah~ I’m so proud of you, honey~!"

"I gotta admit how lucky I am to have her as my wife. She praises me for the smallest of things. Even if it’s a little bit."

Sugar would give Tide a bunch of kisses on his cheek, one leg up in a daze like how you see those in cartoons. While her hubby just accepts the fact she’s always been like that in nature since she was little.

———————————————————————————

PLAYTIME

"When your child is active during non-sleep hours. It means they’re learning to experience the world for themselves. And most of those actions are through eyesight."

Kita’s eyes opened for the first time. They were red like his father’s, bright and lively like his mother’s

"gasp Look honey! He’s open his eyes for the first time."

"Red like mine, but lively like yours."

"Hello my little cutie patootie~ I’m your mommy, Sugar Heart~ and this is your daddy Black Tide."

Tide waves at his child with Kita seeing both his parents for the first time. His first response to them was…

Laughter. He was happy, very happy to see his parents for the first time. Kita decides to go out of his rocking crib when he tries to stand up.

"Kita!"

"Woah-."

But luckily for him. His papa caught him. And lays him down on the carpet floors with both parents in relief that their son wasn’t hurt.

He was still the happy cutie patootie even after that small incident.

"Sometimes it also means they want to play with you. Luckily for my son, he’s got his mama and papa to help with that."

"Peekaboo~"

Sugar was playing peekaboo with her son, who was enjoying his mother’s company. Tide brought in a bunch of baby toys he’d love to play with.

Starting with a baby rattle, which startled him. He looks back at his father and begins to crawl towards him.

"Want the rattle? It’s all yours."

He gives him the rattle and his tiny hands begun to shake it, making the same rattling noise that Kita was joyed by. This made Sugar a little jealous when her son’s attention turned to her husband.

"Hey! That’s not fair you get to have his attention..."

"Then come sit beside me and let’s play with him."

"Fine~"

Sugar Heart sat beside her husband and also grabs another toy for Kita to play with.

The item she grabbed was a squeaky toy of Bakushin!? Kita’s attention turned to his mother, dropping the baby rattle with his tiny arms, reaching for the squeaky toy of his grandpa.

"Ooh~! He wants the squeaky toy of his grandpa! Here you go my little pipsqueak~"

She gives him the squeaky toy and squeezes it as hard as he could. It makes a loud squeaky sound it made, making the infant overjoyed.

"Okay, how about this plushie? Do you want it?"

Kita’s eyes were wide as dinner plates upon seeing a plushie of his father. With Kita dropping the squeaky toy wanting to have the doll that looked like his father.

Since when did the cons began selling plushie versions of the umas…?

Anywho, Tide gives him the plushie and relentlessly takes it, hugging it tight. His smile was bright even without without any teeth made him adorable.

"Oooh you’re adorable with that tiny grin, I wish you could stay forever a baby~!"

She cooed pinching both his cheeks with Kita happily chuckling from his mother’s affection.

"It honestly surprised me that Sugar gave birth to an exact copy of my father. It’s like seeing a younger version of him, but with an unstained future still waiting to be revealed."

Kita motioned his tiny hand to hold onto his father’s. Tide sees this and holds his tiny hand in return. Seeing as how his own eyes reflected with his, he was no different from the others. One can also assume this is just a mini version of Sunday Silence.

Even if we already have one… looks at Deep Impact

It’s just his lack of a toothy grin since he was still a growing boy, and a more composed version of him, and possibly, a gentle giant.

———————————————————————————

HYGIENE

"The biggest responsibility in raising a child, is hygiene. Of course you can’t leave your child to do all the work on their own. They’ll need your help as the parents."

Especially to those who are parents reading this bloopers. No offense to you, you have to be more responsible than that.

"Look who’s enjoying the bubble bath."

Sugar was taking a video of the two, we see Kitasan splashing water all over getting Tide’s black muscle shirt and shorts all smudged in water and soap. But he didn’t care because he was enjoying the company of his most beloved with his favorite kid.

Sorry to the rest of Black Tide’s sons and daughters… :(

"Bathing a child could be risky especially when they are still very young. At least between four to five weeks old. You could bathe them for two to three times a week. That way, they stay clean and healthy from harmful bacteria and other toxins that could affect their still growing bodies. When they are 3 to 6 months old, you can give them a bath every two times a day."

"Mommy’s favorite boy is so happy while getting cleaned by his daddy~"

Kita makes baby noises, his tiny hands splashing the water while Tide washed his body.

The jet black uma poured shampoo on his head and scrubs his scalp gently on his still growing hair. Making sure not to get any of it in his uma ears or eyes.

"Gotta get all those dirty ickys away from your tiny wittle body, right Kita~?"

Kita chuckled, his tiny uma ears flapping in joy.

Sugar posted the video on YouTube gaining worldwide attention. Thanks to their adorable baby son enjoying his bubble bath.

Sigh you gotta miss old YouTube...

"The hardest part of the job being a dad, is cleaning their filth."

It returns to the present day where Tide was talking about his daily life as a father, only for the audience hear the sound of something liquid splurging in the background.

Sad trumpet noise plays at the end of it. With Tide looking at the side and sighing as he was about to demonstrate the hardest part of being a father.

"Starting right now."

We get a new view of baby Kita’s head laying down with Tide in the back all ready for this hard battle, that every dad will face someday. Changing diapers of your baby and putting on new ones. With Black Tide prepared for a change of diapers and a laundry clip in his nose to avoid the stench from getting into his nose.

It was funnier when he did it the first time, to change the diapers of your son for the first time, and have two large cotton balls plugged on your nostrils is hilarious. It’s no wonder why Sugar was laughing so hard that time, it looked like she was going to be out of breath from all that laughter.

"Every dad’s worst nightmare is to change the diapers of your baby. But, you know what they say. If the first doesn’t work. And the second don’t."

Tide removes the diaper with ease, thankfully Kita isn’t a very rowdy child when it comes to changing his diapers. He just makes adorable whining noises as Tide takes the whole diaper off with it wrapped on a plastic bag.

"Third time is a charm."

Sitcom laughter is heard in the background.

Gotta admit, he can’t handle the stench of his son’s own dump. That he literally had to always clog his nose with either cottons or a laundry clip. Poor Black Tide… BUT! At least he’s doing a better job than Heart’s Cry.

Sitcom laughter was laughing even harder when they mentioned Heart’s Cry situation with his baby boys Win Variation and Cheval Grand.

Hey, give him some credit at least.

"And before putting on the diaper, don’t be a stupid piece of crap by leaving any remaining dirt on their butt."

Tide says to the audience, while getting wet wipes and baby powder to keep his buttocks clean. He first wipes off the remaining filth and throws the tissue into the trash before spraying baby powder on his buttocks spreading it evenly across his bottom.

"At least clean what remains before putting on baby powder. And then add the diaper next."

Kita just makes more baby noises while his father put on his diaper. It didn’t take long before finally lifting his tiny body up where his chubby legs are showing his diaper all properly strapped on his baby bottom.

He does a better job at putting on diapers than Heart’s Cry.

Sitcom laughter plays in the back.

"I know you’re watching this vlog, Heart. The steps on being a good dad are easy. As for you early dads, make sure the diapers are properly strapped on. So they don’t fall off their waist when crawling and walking."

He pauses for a moment before glancing at his son’s chubby cute cheekbones and said.

"Say hi to your relatives, Kita."

Kita would make a baby sound before waving with the other hand nibbling on his fingers.

Aww SFX~ plays in the background.

Gotta love baby Kitasan Black being portrayed in this bloopers.

"Let’s get you back to your baby room. Your mama will be back soon, okay?"

Tide would give his baby son a kiss in the cheek on camera, before lifting him up to head back to the baby room.

———————————————————————————

SOLID FOODS

"In a span of 6 months, babies can finally eat solid foods because in this time. They start growing their first baby teeth."

Kitasan was in the baby chair sitting up straight without the need of his assistance. Tide prepared a bunch of different solid foods babies can only eat. Which includes celery sticks, carrots, cereal, rice, chocolate chip cookies, and mashed potatoes.

"How do you know when your baby can finally eat solid foods? The first is head control, they can hold their head and neck steady. The second is they can sit up without the help of a parent’s hand or just minimal the support of a chair, such as one where Kitasan is sitting on. And finally, they have no tongue reflexes. They swallow it directly without pushing it back into their chin."

Kita stares at the camera while eyeing on the solid foods placed on the table. Especially the chocolate chip cookies he was drooling for.

"The most important process on knowing when your baby is ready. Is when they see an interest in the food that you eat will want to take a nibble out of it. If your baby is showing these signs, he/she is ready to take it to the next level of feeding. And because my son is 6 months old, he is ready."

"Yay~! My baby boy’s ready to eat his first solid foods~!"

"Keep it down honey. This is a vlog for helping new dads, not a movie series."

"Oops, my bad… hehe~"

Sugar, like always was the cheery mother who’d always leave praises to her now growing child. First the celery, Tide let his son eat it with curiosity. At first glance he seemed to enjoy it, but then in the second half he stopped chewing and shook his head no."

"Okay, next up. The carrot. It doesn’t fail any newborn umas to have their first taste in vegetables like this carrot."

Kita was curious of the orange looking vegetable that was in front of him. He takes a bite out of it and begins to enjoy its taste. He nods with acceptance, since… you know that’s every umas common sustenance. Carrots.

"Next up is the cereal. Let’s see if he’ll enjoy some oatmeal."

This time, it was Sugar now feeding Kita. She fed him a spoonful of the cereal with milk and his eyes bulged out as he took his mom’s arm begging for more.

"Hahahaha! He wants more. Can I feed him another?"

"Go on."

Kita eats another spoonful before wobbling his tiny arms in the table, which was a gesture of how he liked the cereal.

"Next up is rice. Of course as he grows older, he’s going to learn how to eat other foods mixed with rice."

"Hmph! But I don’t want him to grow up yet…"

"We’ll have to accept it one day he will be a big strong uma, better than his dad. Winning numerous races."

"Or a cheerful lovable bubbly uma who loves bringing the crowd attention like his mom~"

Tide gives Sugar the bowl of rice for their son to try. She takes a chopstick and picks up a piece, closing in on Kitasan’s baby mouth. He takes a bite before making baby noises, it tells them he likes it even though its bland in taste.

"Now for the mash potatoes."

Sugar feeds him the mash potatoes, but Kita immediately spat it out coughing, which means he didn’t like the taste of the mash potatoes.

"Are you okay, Kita-kun? There there."

Tide was there to help with him by cleaning the mess he made on the baby chair. While Sugar gives him water and pats her son on the back to ease his coughing.

Moments later, it moves to Kita trying the best for last. Chocolate chip cookies.

"And we save the best for last. Kita give it a try."

Sugar puts the cookie in front of him, he becomes curious at first and takes a bite before taking his mom’s whole arm to eat more of the cookie.

"Ahahahaha~! Kita let go of mommy’s arm."

"Hehehe… my son loves how I baked my cookies. They’re a special recipe from my ma’s."

It’s no wonder why everyone loves uncle Black Tide. He spoils them with his homemade cookies made from a secret ingredient only his mother shared to very few of her children.

———————————————————————————

SPEECH

"Babies will learn their first speech in about a year. However for us umas, we learn speech patterns faster than normal infants."

"Aaabwaa bwaah bah…"

Kita tried imitating his father’s speech at just six months old but still is trying.

"Baby umas will learn to start talking at around birth stage, by 3 to 4 months they will create very distinct but strong tongue patterns that resemble human speech, and finally around the mid stages of 6 months. Will they develop their first words. Which means my son will start saying his first words."

"Waah guubuu graah waaa…"

"Ahaha! I love how he’s imitating you~"

"Anytime he’s gonna say his first words."

"Ha-… haaa…."

"Oh?"

"His first words!?"

Baby Kita was trying to say his first words, he tries to roll his tongue back while seething his teeth in his own drool. The camera zooms in baby Kita trying desperately to make a word.

"Haaa… haaa…. Ha-ha- haaaa-ri-"

They were both confused on what he’s trying to say, but they gave it a bit more time. A minute passes and finally baby Kita forms his first words.

"Haraaakitte… ikou…!"

Meaning: Let's do our best with enthusiasm!

Awww~ an audience sound effect played in the back, cooing the little ones first words.

"…Ah?"

"AAAH~! What a big word for our baby~! Oh mommy’s so proud of you~!"

Sugar runs to her son and gives him the uppies, something a baby will enjoy especially in their times when they need their mother’s warmth. He giggles and chuckles while Black Tide looks very much confused but weirded out, by how his still growing six month old child could say such a big word.

"Kita."

He asked while the child looks back at his dada smiling at him. He didn’t smile back since he keeps a more angry and firm father figure behind that emotionless cold glare. But deep inside that stoned facade, he was smiling.

"Where did you learn such a big word?"

"Mama… Dada…"

Sugar Heart gasped in joy, now hugging her son even tighter. Leaving the little infant full of affectionate laughter.

While Black Tide…

THUD!

"HONEY!? ARE YOU OKAY!?"

…Looked like he was struck by a bullet from the overloaded cuteness of his own son.

Sitcom laughter plays.

———————————————————————————

WALKING

"Come on, son. You can do it."

"Aaah! Dada…"

The baby colt wanted to crawl to his dad but Sugar Heart stopped him from going further. And lets him sit straight for him to start walking on his own.

"In a span of 12 months, or a whole year. A baby will start learning how to walk on his own two feet. However, for the uma version they learn to start walking at 7 months old. Think of it like weaning a baby animal who do not need their mother’s breastmilk when growing through peak development."

"Like how you drink my milk when I ride you in bed~?"

"PFFFFH-"

Back in the present day, again. Black Tide spat his tea out (yes he drinks tea) and was a blushing mess. Seeing how Sugar Heart’s own carefree attitude could also let something else rise in him…

God not now! Don’t even be horny at an important lecture!

"Sugar… we can flirt later after this, alright?"

"Mhm~"

"Anyway, I’ll cut that part out. And continue where I left off."

We go back with Tide telling his son to stand on his own two feet. His baby boy tilts his head before clapping.

"Like I said before, it’s like weaning but for umas. Since we have an extra bone structure compared to humans who only have one. Our legs could carry our bodies even as young as 4 months old."

Note: This is just my own take in baby uma development. This is not based off the real life horses.

"Come on, Kita. Stand up."

"Dada…"

Kita was about to crawl. But since his mind was learning how to listen to his father’s commands he didn’t move an inch. Just stayed on the floor sitting up straight.

"You can do it, boy. Cross this line right here and reach dad."

"Harakitte ikou, Kita-kun~"

"Aaah… ikou…"

He was distracted by his mom’s words then his attention shifts back at his father Black Tide. His father encouraged him to keep going and not look back. After a moment of thinking. Kita pulls himself up with the support of his arms. Before his own two feet slowly balanced his weight.

Kita was ready for his first attempt to walk in the line leading to his father.

"At first I thought he couldn’t do it, but… his tiny shaky legs started to move, now walking towards me."

"That’s it, Kita. Keep walking."

"Dada…"

"He’s walking he’s really doing it!"

His legs were a little frail. But little by little he started to get the hang of it, and waddled his way to his dad, fast walking with effort before falling into his father’s tight embrace.

"You did it, boy. I’m so proud of you!"

"Yay~! We wouldn’t be needing that stroller anytime soon. Now that our dear son can finally walk."

"Hehehe… mama… dada… pwoud fo meh…"

"We are proud of you too, our little champ. Very proud."

Kita would clap his hands in regards to the praise his father and mother gave him.

"He passed the first test, at the very moment he learned to walk. I saw it. The future. The first steps to becoming a champion."

———————————————————————————

NAP TIME

"A baby’s development in sleeping usually grows over the months. Newborns to a month would be 30 to 60 minutes. One to two months are a maximum of 90 minutes. Three to four months can handle 75 to 120 minutes per day. And 5 months to a year can go about 2 to 3 hours of sleep.”

We see Black Tide rocking baby Kita back and forth. His baby eyes begin to close yawning as he snuggles up to his father’s arms.

"There we go…"

"For the uma version, they sleep from 10 to 12 hours a day. The reason for sleeping this long is so that it helps them gain the necessary energy they need. Umas need more sleep time to be able to grow and develop quicker as time goes on. And these are the things you need to know about raising a child."

We go back to the present with Black Tide no longer on his work desk. He continues his vlog while looking after his son who was dozing off in his crib.

"Now that you know what my job as a father is like, it’s up to you new dads to do the same for your children. I’m Black Tide, and this is my daily life as a father."

When the vlog ends, Black Tide laid the sleeping Kitasan Black on his crib with a music box playing to soothe him in his napping.

"Sleep tight, boy."

As the door closes, the soothing guitar music ends in a quiet note.

NOTE: PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO READ IN SILENCE.

A dark atmosphere surrounds the ever present void. Footsteps could be heard and a silhouette appears in the form of a shadow, holding a candle light that has not been lit up.

Later, that shadow takes a box of matches, lights it up, and we see a candle burning in flames, now illuminating the face of the very silhouette behind it.

An umamusuko, obese in weight but muscular on the upper torso, brown hair swept to the side with a white strip on the middle with an ahoge, his dark purple eyes illuminate his face. Wrinkled but still kept his youthful appearance even after all these years. Wearing a simple white shirt, farmhouse bib overalls, and high boots when stepping on dirt or mud.

"Let me… ask you all something."

C418 Mice on Venus (cut version) plays in the background.

His deep old and raspy voice said, when a ginger cat jumps into the desk that he sat on. He pets the cat as it slumps down the table to sleep.

"Do you know what day it is today?"

He asked the audience (all of you readers) before responding.

"Got the answer? Good. Even if you didn’t get it right. I’ll tell you anyway."

The melody of the piano followed by its ambience harmonized together.

"Do you ever feel like giving up? Do you tell yourself that you don’t want to live and just end it all? I do too."

He pauses a moment with the melody of the music playing before speaking again.

"Every single individual feels this way, when they are down, when they feel the pressure, when they feel the weight of a person’s body slowly crumble into dust? I do too."

He said, while we see the scene of the cat napping beside him in the dark room.

"And when all else fails. The individual loses hope. Until their thoughts whispered into their ears like a melody to end it all. I feel that too..."

The soothing melody of the song continues to play such a somber tune that reflects the umamusuko’s words.

"You’re shrouded in complete darkness, and you want nothing but to take your own life to end that suffering, so you won’t feel hurt anymore and will give you everlasting peace."

He said, while a scene of the candle light burning on the table illuminates the wrinkled hands of the umamusuko.

"But behind that peace lays regret, guilt, agony, lament. We don’t want that, I don’t want that for you. Why you asked? Because… you matter."

The melodic piano’s tune hit in the right spots with this inspirational music. As he continues to enlighten those that are watching ready to take their own lives anytime.

"Don’t tell yourself that you don’t matter, because you do. Don’t tell yourself you want to give up because everything is not going according to plan, it will one day."

The cat purrs on the table while the sweet ambience of the music played a memorable theme.

"In the moment where darkness takes over, and death calls our your name. There is a light waiting to shine on you one day."

His smile could not falter with how adorable it was. Like a cat’s smile he continues his inspirational words of wisdom.

"Don’t give up, you are free to express how you feel. It’s okay to self-reflect on those little things that others say do not matter. They do. You are an individual that needs to be heard, you are an individual that wants to be loved, you want what is best for you, I want everyone to be encouraged as both humans and umas alike. That we are equals in need of help and in times of crisis."

His purple eyes shining, illuminated the candle light behind his irises, continuing with his words of wisdom.

"I want to tell everyone that you need someone to talk with and share a moment of your time, to keep you company in the darkest moments of your life, help you in your worst, and give you a hug when you needed it most. Because you deserve to be loved by everyone. Family, friends, partners, fiancés, loved ones."

He says which is already making me teary eyed writing this right now…

"You’ve done so much for me in the past, and I want to return that gratitude to you, to ask for this one small favor. Help those who struggle with today’s world’s challenges and its problems. Because they are fighting a battle we do not know. Do it for them because you care, do it for them because it will stop them from suicide."

Now you get why this day is so important…? Good. Talk to a buddy of yours or a family member and express everything from the pain you’ve endured for so long. Because you matter.

"And you’re not alone in this, I’ve lost people too. Sometimes self-reflect on ending myself, to bring them closer to me. But… I didn’t, because if I gave in on those words many years ago, I would’ve done it. But I didn’t, because I realized that…"

"Getting old, is a gift."

He quoted a movie quote from a certain celebrity.

"I don’t know how much time I have left before I can see them again. But while I’m here still wrinkling but healthy."

Referring to T.M. Opera O and Taiki Shuttle, the music is slowly coming to a close…

"Don’t give up hope, and stand proud because you, as my friends, my fans, and my caretakers. Are amazing people. And I want you to tell the person beside you say "I’m proud of you." Because I am proud of you too. Be proud of yourself, even for the smallest things. Eating, sleeping, video games, walking, whatever it may be. I’m proud of you. Meto, is proud of you. Doto, is proud of you."

The piano’s melody begins to slow down, its soothing tone coming to an end.

"Thank you for listening. Love them the way you love me and Meto, because their life matters in this world too."

Meisho Doto, the umamusuko said. Blowing the candle light out. With the room going dark once more.

When it hits to the end of the piano’s last verse. An important message is shown on screen.

Globally, 1.4 people die by suicide every minute, meaning one person dies by suicide every 43 seconds.

PS: Don’t tell people to talk to someone, listen to them when they needed it most. Because their voice matters.

Made by u/3Ace_SinLines

It was a normal night in the old world, crickets chirpped across the greenlands of a peaceful farm, no cars passed and no one to be seen. Just a starry night illuminating bright glitters in the ocean of stars.

We see two umas, one with black hair, the other with yellow blonde hair.

The first was Sunday Silence, with his usual long mane styled in a wolf cut, scars across his body, and a red eye that was luminous in the dark other than his yellow eye. Wearing long sleeves and baggy joggers with socks to keep warm from the cold breeze.

The second was Neo Universe, he had short blonde hair with an ornament of light blue inside and soft baby blue eyes that shimmered like sparkles. Wearing a big baggy light blue baby long shirt with oversized sleeves, a pair of baby shorts with baby socks in toddler size.

Both were stargazing together in a light night Saturday, while Sunday’s wife Pointed Path was fast asleep.

The two were enjoying their moment together as father and son,

"See that star over there, Neo? That right there is the Big Dipper it represents…"

Sunday was teaching the constellations of the origins of the Big and Little Dipper.

However… as Sunday was busy talking about those things, Neo slowly stares into straight into the audience’s POV. His baby blue eyes fixed on whatever he was looking at that Sunday wasn’t aware of.

"While that one right there, is the-"

"Chichi…" Meaning: "My Father" only used when you are talking about your own father to people outside your family.

"Hm?"

His tiny arm raises with the overworn sleeves pointing at… us.

"There."

"Huh?"

His eyes begin to dart at whatever was he’s pointing at, and doesn’t see anything. Sunday asked what he was pointing at.

"What are you pointing at, Neo?"

There, chichi. There."

His tiny arm already guiding his line of sight so did his zigzag ahoge do the same. But… Sunday can’t see who or what Neo was seeing.

"Neo, I don’t see what you’re pointing at, is it something I’m not seeing?"

Without saying anything, Neo’s tiny head nods and just does the same motion of hand gestures to direct his father’s eye contact on the audience’s POV.

But double checking again, he doesn’t see any, he asked what could he be talking about.

"Boy, what are you talking about?"

"A… A…"

He tries to say the word audience for the first time. A big word not even a baby can say.

"Awdiense…"

"Audience? An audience is watching?"

"They’re… watching…"

Neo’s first time saying such a big word was good enough even for his little colt self. Sunday raised a brow and looks at whoever was he talking about.

Was he saying that they were being stalked by someone!? Better not be Daitaku Helios and Mejiro Palmer’s weird antics again.

But no matter where he points at, he doesn’t seem to know that… someone was watching them from another dimension, a theater I suppose. If you get what I mean?

"Alright, time to bring you to bed. It’s almost one in the morning, some beauty sleep will clear that thought of your head."

Neo pouts cutely, and gets carried away by his father out from the balcony and inside the house they go.

While Neo was still looking at the audience’s POV, he did a wave motion saying a few words his tiny voice could form.

"Bye bye, Neo… bye bye… Twasen…"

The tiny colt said before going inside a room where his crib was next to his parents bed. With Sunday getting ready to snuggle Pointed Path as the lights go out.

With only the luminous baby blue eyes of Neo still looking at the audience’s POV. Before going dark later on.

MONDAY

BAM!

"GAH!?"

…That was fast.

An umamusuko gets kicked in the face by the tiny foot of a baby colt, for putting on diapers. The uma gets up, conscious, and we get the grand reveal of Heart’s Cry.

Heart’s Cry had black hair like his father, spikey and short you could almost mistake him for Mejiro Ryan. He only had a dark shade of blue inside with a diamond shaped mark, white, in the middle of his bangs with blue eyes that had a soft lapiz blue.

Now many fans considered him as a professional athlete on the track, but behind that mask was a fiery temperamental uma who doesn’t want you to fuck around and get straight to the point.

Wearing a black tank top that showed his fair muscular physique and gray skinny jeans strapped on a belt around his waist.

And BOY… Heart is not having any of it right now…

"You little shit. You kicked me in the face for putting on a diaper! I’m trying to be a father to you!"

He yelled at his baby who looks like…

WIN VARIATION!?

The baby colt had red hair and green eyes who had a pacifier on his mouth. Showing an angry expression crumpling his tiny fist while partly still naked in the lower half.

Heart wants to slap this child but he didn’t want to ruin his image. So he tried again.

A few moments later, Heart was successful in putting a diaper for the first time.

"There we go! Papa Heart’s first job as a dad. To put diapers on my baby son."

But… it looked like he had some struggles with putting it on, thanks to his son throwing tantrums. Win Variation still had that grumpy look on his face with the… uhh diaper that look like it restrained his legs.

Suddenly he hears another cry, another baby’s cry.

"You stay here, alright? I gotta attend your baby brother Chevy."

While putting his baby son on the crib beside the other crying baby, who we can assume is Cheval Grand. He picks up the child and…

IT IS CHEVAL GRAND, BUT A BOY!?

He looks adorable! Like the female version of Chevachi, his appearance as a boy were what give out the impression that many would call him a cutie patootie. Because as he grew older his baby face (reference to irl Cheval Grand’s cute face) stayed the same even after all these years.

Better becareful around Verxina and Vivlos then if he enters the PD world.

"Hey hey, sssh calm down, son. I got you your milk."

He shoves the bottle on his mouth which calmed him down. And rocks him back and forth to put him to sleep.

Unlike the tempered angry Win, Chevy was a lot more relaxed, he was a soft little frail child with feelings who could cry if you make him feel upset. Which made Heart’s job easier to handle,

But… that little calm demeanor, did not last long. As baby Chevy began to cry again.

"Oh man… I thought you were gonna finally sleep…"

Heart’s Cry forgot one thing about Cheval Grand, he has a big appetite and requires more than a single bottle of milk.

—————————————————————

TUESDAY

The next day comes, with Heart wrapped in a bath towel was also in the showers giving both babys a bath. Chevy loves his bubbles while Win was just enjoying the usual time his favorite place be in. The bath.

Heart was washing their tiny bodies with water to remove any soap. And glad they were not making any funny business that could hurt them.

"Yep, proud to be a papa for these two. Just giving my baby sons the best life before they take on the big world."

Heart’s Cry says, while blowing a bubble to Chevy’s face. His soft baby blue eyes giggled to the bubble as he pops it.

But smudges of the bubble hurt his tiny eyesight causing Heart to panick.

"Oh no no no! Sssh ssh! Chevy it’s alright, boy. It’s just a little smudge that got into your eyes. Lemme help you out."

He was about to open his tiny eyes to blow away the bubble.

Only for Win to splash the soap fille water onto his face which got into his eye.

"AAAAAAH MY EEEEYEES!"

He rolls on the floor Goldshi style with the towel still on his waist, when the pain subsides he stands up to scold Win for splashing water at him.

"WIN YOU LITTLE OUTRAGEOUS PRICK WHY DID YOU-"

Only for him to splash water again onto his eyes.

"AAAAH NOT AGAAAAIN!"

He drops on the floor wailing in pain from the soap filled bath that burned his eye sockets to a bloodshot red hue.

While Chevy stopped crying when Win wiped away the tears and kisses his baby brother’s eyes to heal the booboo.

Aww~ brotherly love. No homo you uneducated fools.

—————————————————————

WEDNESDAY

"Buckle up, boys. Today is the big day…"

Heart was dressed in battle gear (just his usual lousy white long sleeved shirt with gray jogging pants and a pair of flips) with both Chevy and Win on a baby carrier both front and behind him, looked like he was ready for battle. A battle so fierce that even racing could be his second fiercest battle in history!

Shopping.

In the shopping center of a mall, Heart was picking the things he needed in his shopping to do list.

EQ diapers, boxes of nestle milk, cerelac, with a bunch of other nutritional supplements he needs to keep fit. Like protein powders for his shake, some carrots and meat to keep up his gains.

This… was an unusual daily routine for him every week. With Heart picking out the things he wrote on his to do list.

"Alright, first things first. Diapers, then nestle milk for babies, and finally cerelac. Before I could get to my needs next."

It was no surprise that these two were so well behaved when outside of the house.

The usual routine goes on before Heart reaches to his side of his todo list.

Then after he’s done, he pays for everything…

"That would be ¥10,150,000 in total, Heart-san."

"¥10,150,000!? For all this!?"

"Your son dropped a bunch of our branded products."

Says the cashier, he turns back to see the shopping center, ON FIRE, for some damn reason. Because of one child doing all the damage.

Heart got so pissed the entire mall heard it.

"WIN VARIAAAATIOOOOOOOOOOON!"

THURSDAY

We see Heart’s Cry playing a guitar long with…

Daiwa Major as the main guitarist and lead singer, Black Tide as the bassist, and Gold Allure as the drummer.

They were… singing a song that sounded so solemn and beautiful for an early 2000s slow rock…

It’s Been Awhile, since I can say… that I wasn’t addicted and… 🎶

It’s Been Awhile, since I can say I love myself as well and… 🎶

Holy shit, the song is beautiful. His voice, the guitar strumming on Eb flat, the soft bass notes plucked by Black Tide, and Gold Allure’s hi hat ticks with the snare and bass drums. All together had this feeling of asking for forgiveness, while yearning that moment again one wishes to indulge again.

…Why does it sound like Major was yearning for someone? Did he at one point did something in the past he could not let go of…?

It’s Been Awhile, since I’ve gone fucked things up! Just like I always do. 🎶
(Heart’s Cry: Since I’ve gone and fucked things up! Just like I always do! 🎶)

With a voice like that, Heart could swoon a girl’s heart (mainly Halwa Sweet) to her knees and asked him to be their girlfriend.

Sorry, not anymore!

It’s Been Awhile, But all that shit seems to disappear when I’m with you. 🎶
(Black Tide: But all these thoughts seem disappear when I’m with you. 🎶)

WOOHOO! Black Tide can sing! No wonder why Kitasan Black in the PD world could sing. It’s also no wonder why he has a lot of thirsty mares after his ass.

Just as the drop was about to hit, their little band session was interrupted when baby Chevy started crying. Which only means one thing…

"Ah, brothers. I’ll be back one sec."

As Heart proceeds to take off from the rest of the band sitting their asses while all they could hear from the other side of the speaker, was Heart calming baby Chevy down.

Tide sat this one out while Gold Allure the long golden blonde haired stallion with orange eyes just smiled. Major on the other hand just drank, because his life was fucking up.

"Major, what did I tell you about drinking those strong canned beers?"

"Just needed to calm myself down on a Thursday night."

Major said with Allure sighing in his little trip to being drunk all the way. Like always…

"Well, if you drink that all the time you’ll get ale poisoning."

"…Whatever."

"Sigh… just let him be, Allure. Eventually, he’ll be sober one day."

Tide did not want to argue any further with Major’s hard thick skull to get over it. But to Allure, he felt pity.

"Mm. Alright."

"Aight, I’m back."

Heart came back but the atmosphere felt heavy. Its the usual Major is having a silent mental breakdown down, which caused the umamusuko to sigh in sympathy."

"Sigh… here we go again…"

—————————————————————

FRIDAY

Heart’s Cry was with his brothers Daiwa Major, Black Tide, and Gold Allure. They were all together in this reunion talking about their daily lives.

Heart was the first to ask Bladk Tide how he and his family life is doing now.

"How’s family treating you?"

"Pretty well, my baby son Kitasan Black is a pretty well-behaved child with his mom Sugar Heart. You?"

"Cheval Grand is usually tame but hungry, while Win Variation caused me some trouble that cost me an arm and leg."

Referring to 10 million yen incident yesterday.

"How about you, Gold Allure? Any new choire lessons Smart Falcon learned? Or is Espoir City causing you trouble again?"

"Both, but that’s the experience of being a father. And you’re just starting."

"Starting? Heh… it feels like a lifetime already."

They all chuckled together drinking beer until silence was the only thing keeping them together. Sighing, not wanting to speak about whatever they had in mind, just to keep the conversation between them mutual.

—————————————————————

SATURDAY

"And that’s why you should be more like your grandpa. He’s the reason why I made you, why I sired you. Do you understand, Win? Chevy?"

Both babies are curious who their grandpa was, of course. They never got to know him in person so the only way to let his tale live was through his sons and daughters telling the story.

Win seemed to be oblivious as he could only make baby noises, while Chevy… was too busy eating his food.

This got Heart feeling a little upset since his kids aren’t listening.

"Why aren’t you two listening? You’re supposed to be inspired, not act like nerds on a regular level of boredom."

They stared at their papa once, only to go back and do their own thing. Which frustrated him even more.

"Ugh! Kids these days have no sympathy to stories like this. Fuck the ever changing world of social media bullshit!"

"Fuck!"

"Bullshit…"

"Eh!?"

The baby voices voiced out their papa’a cuss, which made him shock that their first words were slurs of cursing!

Oh poor Heart… he tried to be a proper father but it seems to not be working in his favor…

—————————————————————

SUNDAY

It was the middle of the night, Win Variation was being stubborn kicking his dad’s face, while on the other hand was a crying Cheval Grand who was disturbed by all the noise couldn’t stop crying.

And in the middle was Heart’s Cry, with an irritated look on his face and bags under his eyes. It was clear that he cannot do this alone without a caretaker from one of his wives.

But, that’s also the problem. They too, were too busy mating that they couldn’t have the time to look after their kids.

So it was all on this exhausted, tired and miserable umamusuko who’s mentally crying inside for help.

"…I miss my peace."

And the cycle repeats, with the daily life of Heart’s Cry’s new job, as a father.

UPCOMING CHAPTERS…

A baby’s cry can be heard, a boy has been given life, a father with no emotions, lifeless, admits that he is at fault for this child’s biological mother.

Mcqueen: Sunday… give him to me.

He didn’t hesitate, he gave the baby to hold him while two of his other friends helped him up to walk out of the room where Campaign Girl now rest eternally.

Maruzensky: YOU BASTARD!

Chiyono: Dad put him down! It wasn’t his fault!

The two figures were umamusukos one tall and the othe shorter than the one holding Sunday mid air through his collar, fortunately his friends were there to persuade m male uma to put down the mentally defeated umamusuko. Now staring at all four of them.

Maruzensky: And you believe this devil? All they do is take and destroy everything in their way!

Mcqueen: DO NOT COME ANY CLOSER! AS THE HEIR OF THE MEJIRO HOUSEHOLD, YOU WILL NOT HOLD YOUR GRANDSON FOR DOMESTIC CONTROL! OTHERWISE, YOU WILL FACE THE CONSEQUENCES!

The baby cried louder, he wrapped his arms tightly around the infant away from his damsire. Then the tall uma approached with intimidation marking his words that will mentally prepare him for the worst.

Maruzensky: You will always be the son of Halo. There’s no changing that.

Chiyono: It’s not your fault.

Sunday: …

Chiyono: I’m telling the truth-

Sunday: Shut. The. Fuck. Up.

Chiyono: With all my heart, I swore that it is never your-

Sunday: SHUT UP!

Shouting with anger and hatred, he was about to deliver a hit to bruise Chiyono’s face, only to be met with a hug. He hugs back without saying anything because knew full well he needed it. He wanted to take all this pain away, he wanted it to end, he only wished to be loved…

Soccer: We’re trying to find a new mother for Spe-kun. For now, look after him.

Stego: We promise, uncle!

The little boy with dark bay hair with a white stripped on the front of his follicles, was the one week old Special Week.

———————————————————————————

Four months, its been four months, and today the young colt is about to move to a new home. Hidaka Taiyo Farm.

Spe: You’re gonna leave me here…?

Sunday: I ain’t leaving ya forever, I promise to visit when I have the time.

Sunday ruffles Spe-kun’s hair in a playful manner. Then looks back at his new mother, human mother, Tina. Who approached her with gratitude.

Sunday: Take care of my son, Tina. I’m counting on you.

Tina: Leave to me, Sunday-san. He’s going to need all the love and care.

———————————————————————————

???: Aaaah…. hic… haaahaaa…!

An uma mother with brownish hair, craddled a sleeping baby with bags under her eyes. Her name was Vega, a daughter of Tony Bin. She didn’t want to let the child go after making the hard decision of choosing only one.

Sunday He’s adorable…

Vega: Always was, honey.

A sad smile on Vega formed on her face, while breastfeeding her newborn. He clings onto the fluffy cotton of his mother’s blouse while rocking back and fourth to feed her child. Sunday could only watch while also touching his child’s hair, he reached out with his index finger as the boy wrapped his tiny hands around his own finger.

Sunday: AAAAGH…!

A loud sorrowful cry echoed across the cemetery. Rain fell that day with the now small coffin buried under the dirt. The bags under his eyes showered with tears streaming down his face. Did the world really hate him that much, it took the only things that made him whole?

———————————————————————————

Sunday: Dada!

Suzuka: Suzuka!

His father ran to him with Suzuka hugging him first before he returns the hug. Sunday lifts him up high in the air and spins round imagining his son as a superhero.

Suzuka: Yaaay! I’m a superhero!

Sunday: You are always my little hero, boy.

Wakia gave her husband the usual greetings with a bow. Returning him a gentle smile that carried a gentle feeling.

Wakia: It’s been awhile since we last met, Sunday-san.

Sunday: I wouldn’t forget any of my wives, which includes you.

They share a kiss together in front of their son and kissed both Suzuka in the cheeks, making the tiny runner giggle.

Sunday: SUZUKA!

Sunday: …Dad…

Sunday: Suzuka- Oh god…

His eyes were wide as dinner plates when he made it all the way down to his leg. It twisted a knot on his stomach. The left leg of Suzuka in its original position has twisted the other way, something that shouldn’t be possible.

Sunday: Don’t go out on me or you’ll never wake up!

Sunday: Forgive me, boy. This is gonna hurt in 1, 2, 3-

Suzuka: AAAGGH!

Lifting him up to give him a piggy back ride was a bad idea. It only made the umamusuko cry in pain, but he had no time he needs help than he does right now! He cried for help to anybody! But all they could do was watch.

Sunday: You gotta help him, please-

Only to stop when he notices the clear liquid filled injection. It can only mean one thing…

Sunday: YOU’RE NOT GONNA DO THIS TO MY BOY!

He attacks anyone who tries to put that needle into his neck. But Sunday was overpowered by security pinning him down flat to his stomach.

Sunday: Don’t do this please… I’ll give you anything, anything to not euthanize him!

Too late, the needle reaches his neck and is injected with the liquid. Sunday watched as every ounce of that liquid went through his skin, before removing the needle from his neck.

All he could hear was the sound of his son’s heartbeat, he couldn’t hear anyone. Suzuka gave him one last smile looking over to where his father was.

Suzuka: Take care of everyone, dad. Including Spe-kun…

Before the light of his eyes goes out. Rain fell that day, a cry echoed through the tracks of Tenno Sho, where no one else was, his sons Stay Gold, Admire Vega, Air Shakur, Agnes Tachyon, and Manhattan Cafe. All approached the grieving black beast.

———————————————————————————

Devil: Hey baby brother!

That voice, the tone, and the black mane long behind his shoulders, spikey. With blue eyes that were lifeless but attractive and intimidating to others. It was Devil’s Bag, Sunday Silence’s older brother.

Sunday: Goddamn! It’s good to see you again.

They hug each other like they always did, its been so long since they last met. The hug ends with Devil looking him eye to eye.

Devil: Lemme look at ya.

After staring at his brother, a portion of him knows he’s been through some kind of struggle. But he wanted to set that aside and make a small joke.

Devil: Holy shit, you’re fuckin’ old.

Sunday: Tsk, say that to yourself, asshole.

Devil: Hahaha!

Sunday just pushes him back playfully while Devil ruffled his hair like he always does when they were little. In the end, their usual bickering ended with both of them laughing together. Like always with their sibling rivalry. Then a woman with blond hair, pale skin, and soft purple eyes wearing something to that to the Victorian Era’s fashion, a long elegant white dress with a big hat angled to the left side where red poppies are placed.

???: Greetings to you, Mr. Sunday. I have heard a lot of stories from your brother.

Devil: Ah, almost forgot to introduce ya to her. This is Welsh Muffin. My one and only true mate and love of my life. We currently have four children together.

He introduces his wife, with Muffin bowing down in a respectful manner. Like all British people do. He did the same in return before something else catches his attention. A small boy.

Sunday: Uhh… ma’am. Who’s the little cowboy behind you?

Sunday ask who the little cowboy behind his brother’s sweetheart. He took a slight peak and goddamn. He looks like his mother. With blond hair that’s spiky, with blue eyes that tells you he is a lively little colt. He jumps out to surprise him as Sunday was unfazed.

Devil: This lil’ boy? His name is Taiki Shuttle. And he’s got three other brothers, currently the youngest is a month old.

The young boy named Taiki Shuttle smiled in front of Sunday. His grin had no front teeth which made him even cuter. Sunday smiled back with sympathy for Devil’s child as he jumps around him happily.

Taiki Shuttle: Let’s play cowboys and indians, uncle Sunshine!

Taiki Forest: C’mon uncle! We gonna have fun!

Taiki Chaser: Fun fun with uncle Sunny!

Sunday: Sheesh, boys. Quit the mushy nicknaming. It’s Sunday Silence.

We get to see Sunday playing with three other blond boys who look all like their mother. The eldest was Taiki Forest, next to him was Taiki Shuttle, the other who was just a year younger than Taiki Shuttle is Taiki Chaser.

They all dress up like cowboys of Red Dead Redemption, while their uncle plays the Indian. Devil and Muffin watched with Muffin holding a baby boy who was just a month old sleeping in her arms. His name was Taiki Fire.

———————————————————————————

Bradamante: You and me, we’re both broken into this world together. I can keep you company if you want.

Her fingers crawled all the way to his chest pulling his chin up now on eye contact level. Sunday was still too drunk to realize what he was going to do would change forever.

Sunday: …I would love that.

Bradamante smacked her lips to his, mixing the hot saliva and alcohol they both shared in one bottle.

???: Care to explain yourself, Sunday Silence?

Sunday: !?

In the hallways of the hospital, an umamusuko. Tall, wearing a long coat all the way to his legs that made him look big with a fedora’s hat on, black slacks and a pair of formal shoes wearing gloves that looked to be covering something. His name is Roberto, one of the sons of Hail of Reason. Is now standing in front of the now terrified Sunday Silence. He had dark brown hair and bloodshot red eyes with deep black iris deadlocks that can make even the most powerful man fall to his knees. He came all the way here for one reason, and he was not happy at all.

The black beast falls to the ground, breathing in and out, shaken by his presence that struck true fear in him. But he was not done, Roberto kneels and leans over to whisper to him something that he will not forget.

Roberto: Let us not see each other again, no matter the place, no matter the time, no matter the country. Otherwise, I will have put you out of your misery. You understand? Good.

Roberto threatened, as he removed one of his gloves and patted his shoulder. Where Sunday saw dried blood painted on his naked hands red. Leaving the stallion to suffer the consequences. All he could do now is endure and take the young filly, Bradamante’s daughter, his own flesh and blood. Out of this hospital back to his home.

We see all of his kids gathered together in the baby’s room with their dad rocking a small baby back and forth in his arms. They all wondered, who is the new family member of the Silence Family?

Spe: Who’s she, dad?

Stego: Second, I wanna know too.

Sunday: Her name is Still In Love. And she is your baby sister.

He hands over the young filly to Spe, accepting the child. She cuddles to her older brother with the younger brothers who were adored by her presence.

Marvy: Marvelous! She is going to have all the marvelous love and care this marvelous family is going to give her!

Bubble: She sure will.

———————————————————————————

Spe: What the fuck is your problem!? You pulled my tail for absolutely no reason!

Stego: It’ll be worse than just pulling it by cutting it whole, brother. Back off my face.

The two argued with Top Road in the room backing away from their fiery argument.

Sunday: Why’d you do it?

Stego: …

Sunday: I asked the question, boy.

Stego: What do you think?

Sunday: That is not answer I wanna hear.

Stego: Then what do you wanna hear huh!? That I’m at the fault and my temper did all the bidding-

Sunday: YES!

It made Stay Gold go quiet after Sunday raised his voice. The short tempered uma turned around, lips quivering, he admits he was wrong but there’s got to be something he can convince his dad to see him as worthy.

Stego: I’m not even a worth a penny, I’ve been a bad child to you, and I hated you for not being there when I needed your help. You always rely on the rest of my siblings and not me.

Sunday knew he was right, but he was too pissed or too angry to give his boy a hug. So in return, he gave the very words that would forever engulf his mind.

Sunday: If it weren’t for what happened that day in Tenno Sho, your brother would have been here by now.

Stego: !?

Those words were clear as day, he had a favorite all this time? Stego thought he had no favorites. Not Silence Suzuka, not Deep Impact, everyone is an equal. These words alone pushed him farther from his father’s side.

….But that made him a better person, a better racer, and a better son.

In 2001, Sunday was getting ready to watch on television of his son to run in the Hong Kong Vase. It was to prove that he was worthy of succeeding to mate with the Mejiro Bloodline, but to him, it was to prove his father wrong. To prove himself he was a good racer on the track.

———————————————————————————

Air Groove: Can’t sleep?

Sunday: Yeah.

She sits up on the bed to glance at her boyfriend who currently has a lot of things in his mind.

Air Groove: You can tell me what’s in your mind, hun.

———————————————————————————

To end the argument, Sunday walks in with both Black Tide and Deep Impact now quiet after he heard everything.

Sunday: Deep Impact isn’t my favorite child. Maybe I said this to a few, but none of you are my favorite, especially you Deep.

Deep: Ahem… pardon to let our argument stir a sudden commotion to see us both this way.

Tide: …Yeah, we were just teasing each other, father. Nothing too serious.

Deep: Idiot.

Tide: Bratty lil’ Pui-kun.

Deep: Again with that nickname.

Sunday: ENOUGH. You’re all equals and no more than that.

———————————————————————————

On December 15, 1998. A devastating fire broke out on Hidaka Taiyo Farm with everyone screaming for help, because their were broodmares still trapped inside the barn.

However, one uma was brave enough to help those still trapped inside their stalls, be led out of the barn.

Outside of the farm, a father was being pulled in the arm by his son to stop him from jumping in the sea of flames.

Spe: Dad! Stop!

Sunday: Your sister Osumi Candy is trapped inside that barn, you gotta let me go!

Spe: She can make it on her own dad! Don’t do anything else to risk your life for her!

Sunday: Let me go, Spe!

Spe: NO!

Sunday: LET ME GO-

Spe: I don’t wanna lose the only family who raised me!

Sunday: !?

Sunday stopped to see a vision of Campaign Girl in his son. That made him grow more sad but there was no time for bullshit, he had to push him off with Spe-kun tumbling on the grass where his father jumped into the flames.

Spe: DAD NOOOO!

Sunday manages to make it out in time, with the fires burning brighter. In his arms was Osumi Candy, Special Week’s half-sister, she suffered third degree burns that were beyond healing.

He laid her down on the grass with Osumi giving him her gratitude for saving her, she looked at Special Week’s who was beyond sad.

Osumi: I love you, Spe-kun. Don’t ever forget that…

Before dying a minute later from her injuries. Spe started crying and hugged his now long gone sister with Sunday feeling remorse and said.

Sunday: If you didn’t stop me, she would’ve been alive right now.

———————————————————————————

Sunday: FUCK ALL OF IT! FUCK! FUCK! FUUUCK!

Sunday broke the mirror on the bathroom with his bare hands now bleeding. Before destroying the rest of the furniture inside his own room. Which got the attention of his three friends, kids, and his newly wedded wife Air Groove.

Mcqueen: Sunday! Stop you’re hurting yourself!

Soccer: Goddamn it, I told you we should’ve not left him alone!

Teio: Sunday it’s us, calm down!

Fuji: Father calm down!

Flight: Tachyon help me here.

Tachyon: I am-

Stego: Dad it’s us, snap out of it!

They all pulled him away from destroying more furniture that could hurt him with Air Groove hugging him tightly while crying than she could bear to see him suffer.

Air Groove: Honey, calm down! Please don’t hurt yourself!

———————————————————————————

Ayabe: Mom, who is this?

Vega’s own blood ran cold when she saw Her son holding an ultrasound picture of her pregnancy.

Vega: T-that’s you, hun.

Ayabe: I know, but who is that?

The question made her more uncomfortable when Ayabe pointed the baby beside him. She knew a time will come when her son discovers the truth.

Vega: …That’s your twin brother.

Twin brother echoed through Ayabe’s ears, the honesty his mother had him want to know what happened to him.

Ayabe: What happened to him?

It was raining, a father shielded Ayabe from getting wet with Sunday watching him cry.

Ayabe: Papa… why didn’t any of you tell me? Why didn’t you tell me I had a twin brother?

Sunday was speechless, he wanted to answer him, but he couldn’t because he doubt anything he would say would acknowledged him of how twin births work. The only thing he could do was let him cry on his chest for a while.

———————————————————————————

Chiyono: SUNDAY!?

Spe: DAD WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?

It was beyond insane, he was digging the grave of Maruzensky with his bare hands!? In front of these two especially his son!?

They had to pull him away from doing any further damage.

Sunday: ARRGH! LET ME GO!

Spe: DAD PLEASE ENOUGH!

Chiyono: HE’S LONG GONE SUNDAY, PLEASE DON’T MAKE IT ANYMORE WORSE FOR THE BOTH OF US!

Sunday: YOU DID THIS TO ME MARUZENSKY! I’LL KILL YOU, I’LL FUCKING KILL YOU WHEN I SEE YOU IN HELL!

———————————————————————————

???: You shouldn’t stay in the rain for too long, or else you’ll catch a cold.

Sunday: Gah!?

He stands up from the bench he was sleeping on where an umbrella had kept him dry. His teary eyes still soaked from all the grief he had endured inside has made him more vulnerable to somebody giving him shelter to keep warm from the cold. He felt bad.

Sunday stood up to wipe his face and got a clear view of who this woman was. It was an umamusume, she had long flowing light brown hair with white stripped bangs covering one side of her eye, wearing a long dress with a bonnet made from silk and straw. To add to her beauty, she wore glasses with a green ribbon on the left of her bonnet.

With the way she dresses, one can assume she’s from Europe. Sunday was moved by her beauty, that even behind her long hair and now soaked clothing, was a gentle smile.

Sunday: …Pardon me if you saw me in such a state, ma’am. It’s Sunday Silence. What’s yours?

She opened her eyes, they were blue, a lapis blue touch that adds to her undine beauty tilting her head to the side to smile at him.

"You will find that eternal happiness, the sunshine that will clear the everlasting rain. Because you are special on the day you were born."

Wind: My name? My name is Wind in Her Hair.

"Aah… fuckin’ finally I can get off the paperwork, all that stuff has made me hungry."

We see Sunday walking out of his office, with umamusumes greeting him, some random, others he didn’t know were from the future before he passed.

"Ohaiyou gosaimasu, Sunday-sensei!"

"Ohaiyou, Sunday-sensei."

"Ohaiyou! Jii-san~"

Most greetings were from people he’d bump into, like Fukukitaru and Tannhauser.

Then other times he’d meet those who are less chaotic like the calm and prestigious Mejiro Ardan, or the number counting calculator Biwa Hayahide.

And in most cases, he’d bump into the flashy or let’s say Gen Z type of umas like Helios who says "WEI!" All the time, while Curren was the more popular girl you see enjoy taking pictures and selfies, sending them to umastagram. "Is that some kind of dating app?" Sunday wonders...

The most common occurrence would be meeting his kids like Marvy who mostly hugs her father upon meeting him, Suzuka who asked further questions about what was her other self like in the old world that Abby did not show on the theater, Spe sharing a snack whenever she sees her father after work, Stego giving casual greetings before passing by, Tachyon usually asking for his DNA which he ultimately denied to have proof she was her biological father, Cafe sharing a cup of coffee with extra sugar to keep him awake, or even Ayabe who enjoys fluffy things bring fluffy things to keep Sunday warm from the enternal cold office room with high powered AC.

We can also includes his grandkids like the Gold Family, with one of them being Gold Ship always loud and ready to unleash chaos.

It was as if this was the new normal he had to live in. Not that he complained. As for these usual encounters whenever he was done with work, be it on break or leaving the academy to go home. He always gives a greeting back. Isn’t that wholesome?

When he enters the cafeteria, it’s usually and always full of students making lots of noise while on lunchbreak. He enters the room where students all greet him while they enjoyed their lunch. One could say, he saw Oguri Cap stacked with a mountain of rice in five bowls which looks impossible to finish. Shoving everything down her mouth like an 80s cartoon character.

Familiar faces everywhere, then he spots one that’s not an umamusume, rather an umamusuko. He was tall and lean, stature looks like that of a stud, chestnut hair, spikey in the style of a wolfcut, red eyes like that of his father, but darker. Wearing tracen’s uniform with a baseball cap to add style.

His name is Daiwa Major, the half brother and uncle of Daiwa Scarlet and a descendant of his bloodline. Right now, he was sitting alone in one table eating. The black beast approached him and gave him a light tap.

"Hey there, sport."

"Oh… hey pops."

He turns around and greets him in return, Sunday sat down next to his son, but he noticed something was odd…

"Something wrong, Major?"

"…"

"Major?"

"Ah- nah, it’s nothing pops. Really."

Sunday sighed with no other choice, he pushes the topic to get straight to the point.

"Something’s in your mind, boy."

"…Maybe?"

"Then what’s bothering you? Speak."

"…"

Major ignored his father which got him a little upset, but he wouldn’t push his anger to him unless he sees the reason. Following his gaze he sees a table with two people bickering each other. Or should I say, two mares he wasn’t familiar with. One was Daiwa Scarlet, the daughter of Agnes Tachyon and his granddaughter. The other was the daughter of Tanino Gimlet, she had long dark bay hair with a white strip on her follicle, covering her left eye tied into a low ponytail. Her name was Vodka. And something tells Sunday he needed to… be there to support him by doing him a favor.

So Sunday leans in to ask if he knows her.

"Y’know her?"

"Before…"

Sunday glances at Vodka again and then looks back at Major. Honestly it feels distracting but he wants to help. So… Sunday did the only thing a father can do.

"I’ll talk to her for you."

"Wait- pops, don’t please."

"You’re lookin’ at her with interest. So I wanna do my boy a favor, even if you’ve been quite a hassle to handle as a kid."

He ruffles his head under the cap leaving him to pout a little. It was adorable, but he wasn’t wrong, Major had been a real tough nut to handle sometimes, but he knew the kid’s got a brain to even think of his wrongs.

Sunday approaches the two mares who were still bickering each other. Only for them to stop and greet him with respect.

"A lively morning to the two of you."

"Ah ohaiyou gosaimasu, jiji."

"Ohaiyou Sunday-sensei, what brings you to our table?"

To many, he is an intimidating figure to fear, but to those who knew him personally, he was a gentle giant. Sunday glances to the right where Vodka which caught the mare a little off guard.

"Vodka, right?"

"H-hai? Is there anything you need, Sunday- sensei?"

Sunday backs up a little inhaling a breath of air before exhaling.

"Well, you see I have a son who’s been staring at you for a while, seemed really interested in you."

"Eh- really? But who?"

Instead of answering her question, he calls the namesake of his son who’s now bursting a shade of red. How cute to see the a tough cookie like him crack.

Vodka in return seems to have turned a shade of red, since she was informed in secret by Black Tide that an admirer/fan of hers was staring at her for a while.

Sunday watches these two look all red in the face, it made him chuckle a little. Because he is reminding himself of how he got together… with her.

"Major, come over here and say hi."

"No-"

"Major."

"Pops, quit embarrassing me!"

"I ain’t embarrassing you, boy. I’m supporting you. Now get over here and say hi to Vodka."

Major wanted to rebel but he sighed in defeat and decides to move to the table he was currently in. With Major closing in, Vodka started feeling flustered.

Sunday kept a good distance to watch with the two now in contact. There was an awkard feeling in the air that fell silent for these two. With enough confidence, Major was the first one to break that silence by saying hi.

"…Uh, hey."

"Hi…"

"My name’s Daiwa Major. You?"

"Vodka. I-it’s nice to meet you."

Sunday glances at Scarlet giving her the wink, she gets the idea and leaves the cafeteria by pretending she needed to do her every honor student duties. So that these two lovebirds can enjoy their private time together.

"I know you’re different from the Vodka in my world but… because I was given a second chance in life, it feels like a distant dream, a fresh start, a new beginning to fix the mistakes I made. But I wanna start over again so that it doesn’t happen here."

Vodka didn’t intervene or butt-in his conversation. She simply listened to him and nodded without hesitation, Vodka knew her other self, and how Major still had a longing for her. Even if he had Kawakami on the old world, he always had a heart for her somewhere deep inside the crevices of his chest.

To tell you truth, Black Tide was a sneaky little son of a gun who spilled the beans to Vodka about her other self, about him, and about how much her death almost destroyed his life. Now that he’s here this feels like a mission. A mission to heal his own personal scars he had couldn’t heal without care before Kawakami came to his life.

Vodka gave Major a big smile and put her arms around her hips with confidence.

"That’s alright! It’s all in the past. Because you’re here now, means a new beginning."

Vodka stated before lowering her voice to blurt out the last words that Major can’t hear.

"…And we can get to know each other better."

"What was that?"

"Nothing! Let’s have lunch together."

"…Sure."

It was quite awkward, that’s for sure. You can see these two have awkward tensions to now two individuals having a normal conversation. The jet black haired uma crossed his arms and watches while he eats.

Then he noticed something that would make his eyes go wide. A smile. One that is truly genuine from the heart. Like a way of saying thanks, to Sunday’s eyes, it has been awhile since any of his kids in the old world crack a smile that wasn’t masked by its true facade.

And seeing how Major was laughing, having conversations with the soon to be girl he was going to be engaged in the far future, made Sunday more happy.

As luncbreak ends, students began to rush out of the cafeteria going to their respective classrooms, with Sunday going last. The black beast goes out of the door and spots the two still chattin. He wanted to intervene or they will be late for their next class. But he couldn’t because he will ruin the moment.

So he watched from the distance.

"So… wanna hang out again after school?"

"Of course, Major! And after class let’s race."

"Heh… don’t underestimate me."

"I won’t hold back!"

The two separate and head to their respective classrooms leaving Sunday to nod in confidence. It’s not his right to hold their future to decide if they want to be together in the second life they were given.

He goes back to his office to work on the paperwork given by Air Groove, his girlfriend. To be honest, Sunday may not be the best in advices with love, but in his heart, he did a favor by persuading his son to talk to the girl he liked.

That for him is enough to tell himself he did a good job.

———————————————————————————

A few hours had passed and school ends like everyday would. Which means Sunday going to therapy every week.

He enters the building and makes his way across the hallways filled with other therapy sessions, closed behind doors. He comes to a stop to one room in the corner, which is the room he is told to go to every time he has therapy.

The umamusuko enters the door with the therapist happy to see him. As said before, some therapist here are humans, be male or female, sometimes even umamusmes to help other humans or umamusumes with mental health issues.

Sunday was told to head to the room like always where he is greeted by his therapist.

{"Good evening to you, Mr. Sunday."}

"Evening too, ma’am."

He goes to the usual table and desk where he’s inside the 4x4 room. With a mirror having opposite reflections, one was just his reflection and the other was a see through image where the therapist is. She takes out her notepad and opens the camera to start the recording session.

[RECORDING SESSION STARTS: 🔴]

{"Before we start our session like always, I want to ask how you are this week?"}

"Been good so far, really. The kids have been spoiling me sometimes and tells me I need their protection at all cost. Not that I mind, but it does get a little too much especially when it’s serious work or academics."

She only chuckled, most of her private life was hidden away so that nobody would do anything irrational or inappropriate to her. But her laughing through the microphone wasn’t out of mockery, it captured wholesomeness to how Sunday described his children. Because she herself is engaged to her partner, now a mother of three children.

{"I could tell just by how you said it, Mr. Sunday. They grow up from the moment they were born ready to take on the world. And these little things are what you must appreciate."}

The black beast nods and does not say anything further, with the therapist the same. The session had finally begun.

YOUR ARRIVAL IN THIS WORLD?

{"Your arrival in this world certainly made an impact to the public being the first umamusuko to rome the earth. Can you tell me more about your arrival, Mr. Sunday?"}

Sunday hummed then after a good five seconds he answered.

"Comin’ to this world shocked me a little. And I wasn’t expecting to be revived by an anomaly who goes by the name Abby. And the first person to glance at me was a white haired uma who almost looked like Mcqueen, but if she was a girl with a tall and feminine stature. At first, I went defensive mode even against my own kids whom I didn’t know were my kids in another world, when I was revived. And then Abby, who I call the anomaly uma, tried to defuse the when she summoned my other boys like Major, Tide, Deep, Allure, and so on."

Of course, upon arriving. Sunday’s had eyes on one uma who was ready to bring one of her pranks. Only to be stopped by someone far more short, elegant, and petite pulling her ear saved him from whatever prank she was planning to do on Sunday.

I mean, wouldn’t you be the same? You suddenly got revived by someone you do not know, and have a whole generation of your family tree with the rest of the following descendants become girls, (except for Partner, Aruvu, Still, Messiah, and Pandora) and realized you’re back from the living after 16 years of suffering?

Fortunately for Sunday, this umamusume summoned the rest of his children and cured their diseases or injuries. Children like Black Tide, Deep Impact, Gold Allure, Daiwa Major, and other umausukos were summoned. Revived in this world to live a second chance in life.

"Then outta nowhere, I just surrounded by almost everyone, except for a few. Swarmed over me like a bunch of piranhas, and gave me one big embrace. I was shook to the core but I knew alone that their presence felt like my kids of the old world."

We get a scene of his children running to their father to hug him. Marvy going first, followed by Special Week, then Suzuka, then the rest of the Sundaylings. It was quite a heartwarming experience for Sunday to have all of them hug him like this. Since he too was like this to his kids whenever he was off duty, their birth, or even during their best and worst times. He was there for everyone.

"I asked Abby what this world really was meant to represent and why it exist. The first being my kids and other umas, who I have not known, were given a second chance in life as a way to alternate the history behind their real counterparts. The second was this world is a utopia. Before the real counterparts died, their souls were transported into another world by the Three Goddesses, who are all based off The Sires of all Sires in my world. Sent here to alternate that reality they failed to fulfill or a fate that sealed them. And the third was… for me to live another life in this world, where we aged slower like humans, are their size in human comparison, and to give me all the quality time I need to make it up to them.

While explaning this to his therapist, we see cutscenes rolling in the background.

The first scene depicting Suzuka who had been euthanized by a broken leg. Get taken to a light guided by a voice, only to find himself now a girl with no memory of her original life.

The second was the appearance of the Three Goddesses, wearing clothes way back into the 18th century that look godlike to perfection. To tell you truth, they look like someone straight out of Middle Eastern Mythology. Sunday read enough encyclopedia and history books about these Three Goddesses of this world. Because back in his world, there were Three Thoroughbred Sires. Their names are Darley Arabian, Godolphin Arabian, and Byerley Turk. The Big Three, The Holy Trinity, The Sire of all Sires. And this version of them was just based off his world’s version of the original.

And the third scene was Sunday spending the quality time he’d always wanted to spend with his kids. After work, back at home, or even a full family vacation, or just a bonding session for a few minutes to hours before they get back to their dorms. All that done a month after his arrival. In all those scenes, Sunday was happy, very happy from the bottom of his own heart.

{"Are you thankful for what Abby the anomaly umamusume gave you."}

"Very. If it weren’t for her, I’d be stuck in limbo. Or worst… in hell with whoever had bad blood with me."

YOUR DESCENDANTS?

{"You have relatives who you never knew, I want to know how you felt when you first knew them. Or when you first saw them since you came to this world."}

"My descendants…"

Sunday gave it a good amount of thought before speaking about his experiences with his… grandkids.

"Upon first meeting them, I knew they had a lot of potential as runners. If trained properly will meet expectations."

He said as a blunt straightforward answer to his therapist. Not wanting to sound like a drunken idiot without knowing their capabilities.

"But other than potential, I’d say… good and loving grandkids I’ve been spending time with."

Back at it again with Sunday’s memories revealing the quality time he spends with his grandkids. For example...

With Cesario, Sunday was helping her learn foreign languages like the common European English tongue, Irish, French, American English, and a bit of Spanish thanks to his world’s El Condor Pasa.

Another would be her younger sister, Buena Vista. Who was the most innocent granddaughter he’s ever known. Her grandfather would spoil her rotten like treating her to a sweet shop or buy her new stuff toys. Rich grandpa.

Then there’s the entire Gold Family starting with Dream Journey, who may have frightened Sunday a little but was unfazed by it. With both having a conversation together on a weekend outside of Tracen. Nakayama Festa gambling with her old geezer even if he should be teaching her good morals. Orfevre inviting her grandpa to a tea party with his two great granddaughters Lucky Lilac and Marche Lorraine, who wanted to get to know him better. Gold Ship and her usual antics with Sunday usually scolding her. And Fenomeno, the state of the police department umamusume who’s helping Sunday learn about being a responsible committee to discipline public morals both outside and inside the academy.

Another would be two other children who seemed to admire him alot. They were both Kitasan Black and Satono Diamond, the two descendants of Black Tide and Deep Impact. With Kita asked for advice to her grandfather about how to get better gains in the gym, while Dia was a different story where she knew the curse of her family’s success now dead related to him, asking how she can… break the curse to ease his pain.

Honestly, the black beast has been spending so much quality time behind the scenes, we can tell how many scenes were written in his mind.

"I have too much to say at the back of my head, but it would consume so much time. So I’ll make it short to finish the second question. I’ve never met any of their real counterparts, because I lived only till I was 16, which is almost the age of a man in his late 50s. If any of the multiverse where another Sunday Silence lives long enough to see an entire generation of his descendants flourish. Then maybe, I would’ve known them better before death took hold of me, to later be revived into this world I currently live in with all the same memories."

YOUR MATES/PARTNERS?

{"You came to this world after fighting a two week infection on your leg, which caused you a lot of fatigue, till you succumbed to your own deathbed. And upon arriving, you shared so many memories of your kids of your world and experiences with your grandkids of this world. Which includes your real family and the history about your short lived career and stud career. But how about your relationships with the mates and partners you bred with?"}

"Let’s see… I know too many but not all are here. I’ve seen them with my own eyes… mainly being, my girlfriend Air Groove, Mejiro Ramonu, North Flight, Dynamu Heroine or her in real life counterpart Dyna Actress, Nishino Flower, and Mejiro Dober."

She writes everything down her notepad and continues to question Sunday further.

{"What can you tell me about them that makes their other counterpart different from ours?"}

"I can start with Air Groove. My world’s version of her was a very kind, docile, and friendly to her handlers. When she and I first were paired it was during her post early retirement before we had our first child together. She does still have that habit of putting makeup on her face like what most gyarus do, but one nickname still gets me laughing about that this version of Air Groove doesn’t have. Bero-chan (Licky-chan). Where she likes to stick her tongue out and make funny faces to her handlers. The Air Groove of this world is a proud, strict, and highly ambitious woman. But not to the extent of Ramonu’s own."

Sunday spends a lot of time with her, even with their still developing love relationship, he does tend to get a little excited when she’s around. Like the first time he went to Tracen Academy he’d kissed her not in a passionate way, but hungry, needy for attention, craving for love. Only for Admire Groove, their daughter to step in and interrupt their little private time. Deep inside Sunday’s head, he wonders if she can replicate the Bero-chan of his counterpart’s world. Making funny faces, or possibly be flirtatious like a gyaru with that tongue action. It can also be used for… ahem- sexual pleasure if she allows it on his behalf.

"My world version of Ramonu was calm, intelligent, docile but beautiful woman. While this world’s version of her seemed to be the supremely confident and bewitching figure to the Mejiro Clan."

We see a moment with Sunday and Ramonu having a conversation outside of the Mejiro Household. And while she does flash a lot of her charms and duties as the eldest of her siblings, it doesn’t really appeal to him anymore not after constant breeding nonstop.

"Then there’s North Flight. She and I aren’t really that close but she was like my world’s Ramonu. Only, she had deep human bonds than to her own spieces. The Flight of this world was outgoing, stylish, and a very passionate trendsetter. Especially on clothes."

North Flight, did take him to a mall to shop with Sunday on the latest trends of fashion clothing. While he didn’t mind spending quality time with her, he was being watched by a certain somebody who was jealous.

"Dynamu Heroine’s in real life counterpart, Dyna Actress. Was very much like my momma. She was a fiery woman of temper, was violent to other humans by giving them the rodeo, and difficult to get along with. In fact, during mating she wanted me to focus only on her as the "actress” of the show. Like the center of attention and no other mare should be in my mind other than her. Meanwhile Dynamu Heroine of this universe, is just literally the same. Ambitious and bellicose, combative or eager for battle. It’s no wonder her title "Lady of the Stage" lets everyone to make fun of her.

The scenery with Heroine wasn’t a pleasant one. Although he didn’t want to become violent over a single student whom he had mated with in the old world, she knows when her limits are reached. The… let’s say talk/scolding was a rocky road to still unable to have good connections with her. But if she didn’t like him, he won’t push it any further.

"Nishino Flower of my world was not afraid of giants like myself, she was all kinds of powerhouse complex compared to the Flower of this world, she is remarkably precocious, possessed a fierce, competitive tenacity, and is a very composed small woman. While this version of her is exceptionally soft spoken, innocent, and deeply thoughtful. Almost to that of a kid."

On the first three days of his arrival to Tracen Academy, Nishino gave Sunday a bag of treats which were made personally from her. She even invited to Sei-chan’s favorite resting spot and give a crown full of flowers as some sort of welcoming gesture. I think Sunday saw Seiun Sky before she hid. Was she… jealous?

"And lastly, there’s Mejiro Dober. The youngest member of the Mejiro Clan. When I first met her in this world, she… seemed afraid of me. Like I was about to do something indecent to her. Even when I had no intention of doing anything weird. But back to my world’s Dober, she had a handler who enjoyed his company. But one day he passed and she became very nervous towards other handlers or stallions. There are extremely a few notable men she trust which includes her father Mejiro Ryan, my son Special Week, and me. Dober of this universe was very shy, anxious, and men-averse to anyone she’s encountered or engaged in a conversation or family meeting."

He wasn’t wrong, Dober seems cautious with Sunday but not to a degree like the men she’s met in her past life. He was different, someone she can rely on and trust as both a teacher and a friend. Sometimes, when Sunday is being interrogated by his wife, he’d catch Dober eyeing him staring at him as if she wants something from the black beast. And whenever he tries to approach to talk, she use excuses or vents out frustration out of nowhere which does raise eyebrows and confusion sometimes. But he didn’t mind at all, he’ll go with the flow until she’s comfortable enough to be dependent on him.

What a detailed explanation from the black beast himself. His therapist writes everything down and asked the next question.

{"Do you have any children with them?"}

Yeah, I do. Air Groove had a daughter named Admire Groove, her first child. Mejiro Ramonu had a daughter named Mejiro Desire. North Flight has a son named Miscast. Dyna Actress had four kids, two daughters named Prime Stage and Running Heroine. She also had two sons named Ragtime Sunday and Act Naturally. Nishino Flower had a son named Nishino Shishi. And finally Mejiro Dober had a daughter named Mejiro Lourdes.

Every child name labled had the exact looks of their mother’s appearance, somtimes their father, and they usually have red or purple eye color. But one thing didn’t stray far from the family tree. They had their father’s fiery temper, violent demeanor, and sometimes hyper emotional active behavior like with Sunday when he was still a little colt.

OPEN TO DEEPER THINGS?

{"It’s been four weeks since our first session, Mr. Sunday. And I love every part of our conversation with how open you are to small bits about your life, the experiences you had with your family, the children you sired, and even the small moments you cherish. But are you open to deeper things that are controversial or too much to bear?"}

A heavy guitar strum played in the background. Sunday inhales but exhales a breath of air knowing there will be a time he needs to open to things like this too. He does mind because this is his personal space, but if it meant to understand him better as a person and help him with these matters not only to himself, so that the future with his kids, his friends, his mates, and his girlfriend will be able to help him too.

After a long pause he nods with an honest smile that was hiding a lot of pain.

"I’m okay with it, if it’s for their sake and my own. I’ll do it to not only to let all this pain go away… but to also make it up for the mistakes and misfortunes I may have caused in the past. Be it my own, or to people that I have no control to change there view of me."

The therapist nods understanding the very straightforward answer she was given. With the somber tune still playing, she can feel the tension of her patient just by looking his expression. It was one telling many problems he wished to let out, but shuts it down. Why? Because he was mainly afraid of being judged or left behind like those who couldn’t help him or see him as the son of Halo. The only people he could open up with where his friends, kids, and wives including his mother.

{"You can do it, Mr. Sunday. You have the courage to let out everything you personally hid. Because behind that fearsome intimidating facade… is a kindhearted person who’s always been special the day you were born."}

Wordless, Sunday looked like he was about to cry. There was only one person in the world who would say something like that. And that was his mother Wishing Well. The very same woman who failed to raise him as her own and burdened herself by being a bad mother. It’s all in the past… I know, but the black beast shrugged it off and let out a light chuckle behind those beautiful words. Giving a very euphoric smile back at the camera.

"You’re too kind, miss."

{“Always was, Mr. Sunday. I wish I could continue our conversation but it’s getting late, you wouldn’t want your girlfriend to worry about you."}

"Of course, goodnight to you."

{"Good night, see you next week, Mr. Sunday."}

The solo guitar theme ends when Sunday stands up leaving the room with the recording session ending there.

[RECORDING SESSION ENDS: 🟥]

Made by u/IJN Hirogasaki

Outside of the academy where the derby track was, two umamusukos who were in their trainer wear, were watching young umamusumes run.

The left one with black hair with a white strip on the middle of his bangs, styled in a wolfcut, red eyes cold and dead, built like a tank, tough and gritty with a fiery presence even most intimidating looks can’t faze him, is Black Tide. A descendant of Sunday Silence and Wind in Her Hair. While he was not known for his amazing race record during his prime time, he had sires that dominated races later that day, including his first child who sired foal after foal do the same.

The right does not have the muscular build of his brother, he was let’s say, a little more petite and shorter. He had brown/bay backstreet hair with a little white circle on the top of his follicle, blue eyes gentle and calm, is Deep Impact. Don’t let his cheapskate looks or short stature fool you, as a descendant of the Silence Family. He has one of the highest ranking positions of all his siblings that can knock walls tall as a tower built by Triple Crown Winners. He is perfect, he is mythical, he is absolute.

The brothers just finished recording everyone’s lap time, fixing their forms, and dismissing them because they can’t handle how they train them. As said, when the umamusukos came to this world, their training method was ten times harder than what Okino, Hana, and other trainers would give them.

"Their lap times and forms aren’t bad, breathing is stable, and stamina is starting to improve."

"If the young can keep this up, they might even surpass our average records."

"What makes you say that, brother Tide?"

"I’m saying we let the young carry on, and the old leave behind a trail of breadcrumbs for them to follow. So that they can guide the next."

The two just quietly finished writing their results until Black Tide intervened with a word that may start a sudden flurry of questions…

"Which you couldn’t do."

"…Excuse me?"

"Be honest with me, Deep. Why do you train them?"

"To make a perfect example of the trials I overcame, become their greatest asset."

"And that answer isn’t going anywhere. You are intelligent, but you don’t know if your experience play the fool to your trainees."

His brother was not wrong, but… Deep Impact wanted make it a little more… interesting…

"Tell me brother Tide, how many wins did you have?"

"Not many."

"Exactly, you’re telling this nonsensical story because… YOU did not leave a mark on this world."

DEEP IMPACT WHY!? Also Black Tide, it’s your fault for stating something stupid that is out of the question. When all you two are doing is watching the next generation take over your role.

"…You got guts telling me that, but look who died young with da’s mallacht. (dad’s curse)

His last sentence was said in Irish, referring to Deep Impact’s uknown lung disease that killed him.

"Gah!? Well, at least I sired more children than you."

Deep stated as a proud father of many daughters and sons.

"Have any of your children tried dominating bigger races outside Japan? My daughter, favorite of my family, Gentildonna. Won the prestigious Dubai Sheema Classic at Meydan in the United Arab Emirates in March 2014. My son Real Impact, went to Australia, and won the George Ryder Stakes at Rosehill Gardens in March 2015. And Beauty Parlor my other daughter, won the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches Longchamp in France in 2012."

But Black Tide laughed his ass off which got his younger brother angry.

"What’s so funny!?"

"Doesn’t sound any better when none of them was titled undefeated."

"Contrail."

Yep, while none had the title their father holds. Only one had the title of undefeated. That would be Contrail, a son of Deep Impact who held the title undefeated to this day.

"How many G1s does your favorite have?"

"Seven. Doesn’t your eldest Kita-chan have the same number?"

"True. But what about their own children?"

"…"

Maybe not all of the honors go to Deep Impact, but he surely tasted bitterness from his mouth. Especially knowing the Kitasan of their world had sire after sire who had spectacular records thanks to the resilient stamina of their father and grandfather.

"Because of my resilient stamina. I am proud to state my grandsons and granddaughters of the old world still live to tell the tale. Which your own children can’t."

"Does your wife even know you’re like this to your little brother?"

Referring to to Sugar Heart, the wife of Black Tide.

"Did you have any good experiences dealing with Donna Blini’s demeanor?"

"…I-"

Ooh another shot backfires to his younger brother. And no… oh no, Deep Impact had quite a rocky relationship with Donna Blini. She was the type to want to see you as tough as diamond and has a sharp precocious nature that advances early than Deep’s intelligence. Poor man can’t even rest one bit with the lady always standing tall over his short stature.

"You’re insufferable, brother Tide."

"You’re on the same boat, lil’ wean. (little brother.)"

"Quit using Scottish accents with Japanese."

"Aren’t we both Irish though?"

"Half-American and Irish Thoroughbreds meant to race in Japan, deartháir! (big brother!)"

"And you’re loving this argument."

"I AM NOT!"

"And that makes you even less intimidating as the Young Master."

"Quit this bickering or I will have your head!"

"Over my dead body, little brother."

"I’m telling our da. (dad)"

"Tell him what?"

"Tell him that you’re… urgh! I miss mammy... (mommy)"

"Spoiled brat."

"Curse you, Tide!"

"I love you too, ma’s lil Pui. (mom’s little Pui)"

"SHUT YOUR BLOODY MOUTH UP WITH THAT NICKNAME!"

Time passes on, the two continued their bickering even inside the academy for… who knows how long?

Made by u/IJN Hirogasaki

In the cafeteria of Tracen Academy, we see an umamusuko who was eating. He had reddish chesnut hair, fierce looking scarlet red eyes, wearing the uniform of tracen academy and a cap facing forward.

There were others like his brothers, his friends, and sisters too. But one particular table was louder than the other. Two mares who were constantly bickering each other like rivals in the heat of battle.

"Aaah- alright… time to head to the cafeteria and get something to eat."

Sunday stretched after his usual paperwork and since it was lunch time. He saw the umamusuko, who in particular is one of his sons, sitting alone. So he approaches giving the boy a light tap to the shoulder before quickly glancing at him.

"Hey there, sport."

"Hey pops."

"Why you eatin’ alone at this hour, Major? Shouldn’t you be with any of your siblings?"

The boy was Daiwa Major, who seems to be remotely focused at something. He sits down wondering what was bothering him.

"Something bothering you?"

"…It’s nothing."

"…"

"Really now?"

"Yeah… I promise you, pops. Nothing serious."

Sunday raised a brow. And looks directly at where his eyesight was focused on. It leads to the opposite table with two girls bickering each other. One was Daiwa Scarlet, the daughter of Agnes Tachyon and his granddaughter. The other was the daughter of Tanino Gimlet, she had long dark bay hair with a white strip on her follicles, covering her left eye tied into a low ponytail. Wearing the girl’s tracen uniform. Her name was Vodka. And something tells Sunday he needed to… be there to support him by doing him a favor.

"Y’know her?"

"…Yeah, a long time ago."

"I see, want me to talk to her for you?"

"What-"

"You’ve been staring at her like she’s some sort of angel."

"Ah-"

Major completely got shocked. Did he just hear what his father said? He wants to talk to her for his sake!? Major instantly burned a shade of red in his face unknowingly because he was too embarrassed to approach the girl he was interested in. So dad comes to the rescue.

"W-wait wait wait wait! No no no don’t, pops. Please…"

"But you look interested in her."

"Pops I beg of you please don’t-"

"Too late."

"POPS!"

Sunday makes his way to the other table, the two girls see him and instantly stopped their bickering. Out of respect he is an intimidating figure to fear, but a gentle giant nonetheless.

"Good morning to the two of you."

"Ah ohaiyou gosaimasu, jiji."

"Ohaiyou Sunday-sensei, what brings you to our table?"

"Well… you see. My son, right over there…"

Daiwa Major was feeling flustered in all places. He couldn’t even retain his cool when Vodka looked directly at him.

"Miss Vodka. I think he’s interested in you."

"E-eh!? Really!?"

She too couldn’t help but have a shade of pink on her face. But she knows about Major a lot during the theater so… she decides to play it cool by giving a wave. Only for Major to wave back in return. Sunday interrupted their little moment when he said…

"Major, why don’t you come over here and introduce yourself proper-"

"YOU’RE EMBARRASSING ME, POPS!"

After an outburst of embarrassment, the two started having conversations together thanks to Major’s father for doing him a favor. Which is the beginning of their second chance to get together. How romantic~

[RECORDING SESSION STARTS: 🔴]

Another week, another day for the therapist to check in. Sunday as usual, walks inside the room and sits down on the chair with the camera already recording before he got here.

{"Good afternoon to you, Mr. Sunday."}

"Afternoon to you too, ma’am."

Their greeting was short with the therapist taking the pen and notepad out so she can write down notes.

{"Today is the third week of your therapy. I know our last session was made you a little upset. But I hope today you are feeling better."}

"Yeah, don’t worry about it. It was just a question to know my family’s side. And I too, am sorry for suddenly getting aggravated by a question. I didn’t mean any harm."

Sunday said with honesty, he was indeed mentally tired from paperwork and helping his kids on training. But to suddenly let an outburst can really lead to lots of misunderstandings. Luckily for him, it was just him and the therapist. If it were other people it could get a lot worse.

{"It’s ok Mr. Sunday. I’ve seen patients or should I say clients to your standards, have similar conditions connecting yours. And at those times many of them are males like you who suffer from severe depression."}

Sunday nods without any explanation. The therapist looks at her watch and then back at her patient. They have a lot of time to talk so she doesn’t waste this opportunity, and let the session start.

{"We are about to begin your therapy session may I ask if you’re ready to begin, Mr. Sunday?"}

Sunday nods twice. He’s come mentally prepared this time with whatever questions she will ask him. Starting with…

LEAVING THE U.S.?

{"You left America after you’ve suffered a torn ligament on your left leg. Did you have hopes of seeing a better life when you left?”}

"Not gonna lie, I’ve always wanted to leave since my retirement. Cause I knew my life wouldn’t get better if I returned to the farm. Because to them, we don’t exist…"

Sunday who have won everything to help the farm and see a different side of the story, did not work out in their favor. Even after winning with everything they had. They didn’t send letters, or even gifts, not even cards or anything that would make them happy.

They just simply ignored the fact that their existence was a short lived dream that only one can make sense of.

"They’d throw rants, hates, and even death threats. And at one point, they pointed a gun at me with Arthur in front, while another wanted to call authorities and arrest me because I was disturbing the neighborhood."

One day while finding a retirement home, Sunday was thrown by rants, hates, even death threats. At one point, Sunday remembered being thrown rocks the size of hands at him, or even called authorities to arrest the uma who was just trying to find a home. Even Arthur cannot tolerate this kind of behavior of humans towards umas looking for a place to live in peace for the rest of their lives.

That was until Arthur got a message from an anonymous person.

"So I stayed back on Stone Farm Kentucky. Then one day, a miracle came. When an individual named Zenya Yoshida called in. And told Arthur he has a retirement home for me."

We see a scene of Arthur talking with Zenya about the agreement to bring Sunday into his home. But he refused to give him up.

"That was in the early 90s at that time, I was fighting my own sickeness and..."

Sunday remembered how sick he was when he was hearing Arthur talking through the phone. At the time it was very late night and his voice can be heard all the way through the barn he was sleeping in.

"All I can remember at that time I was a little feverish. But every night, there was always an interrogation in the deal that Zenya offered. Where I can have a peaceful life in Shadai Stallion Station. But one mention in particular… prepared me for something much bigger."

He wasn’t wrong, Sunday snuck out of his barn still sick one night and heard the conversation himself. But he couldn’t understand, it was in full nihongo but there were times he spoke in english.

[FLASHBACK]

STONE FARM

Month - June
Date - Sunday
Year - 1990

A guitar solo sounding a little bit solomn with every strum plucked on the string, we see Sunday sneaking out of the barn and then leaning in one of the house windows where he overheard the conversation between two businessmen.

Yoshida: Please Mr. Arthur, I beg you with all my pleas to bring Sunday into my home!

Hancock: No can do, Mr. Yoshida. I’m not selling him off after he did his part to stand his ground and become the pride of our home. If you want, I’ll give you a minority interest of 2.25 million dollars to satisfy you.

Yoshida: We talked about this before, Mr. Hancock. I am not keeping the money I want to keep-

Hancock stopped him halfway to his reasons with a straight answer.

Hancock: He is not leaving Kentucky. He will die in Kentucky.

There was a momentarily pause before the phone call was dropped.

[PRESENT DAY]

"A few dozen more tries before the late September of 1990. Arthur relented to the idea of moving me to Japan. Because nobody had interest in me."

Sunday paused for a bit to breath then continued.

"But before the debt was settled. He wanted to vaccinate me before my departure. But Yoshida didn’t want to take the risk, because of the lawsuits in Japan for uma vaccines."

As the misunderstandings between the two were cleared. Sunday was ready to say goodbye to Charlie and Arthur.

The two felt bad because they had bigger plans, bigger plans to continue racing in the Triple Crown Series. There was another idea to have him go through a selected breeding program, which would later be applied to his stud duties in Japan later that month.

All they can do now is say goodbye to Sunday leaving Stone Farm, taking his leave to Japan.

"I left, I went to Japan, and I made a new life from there."

The solemn guitar solo comes to a halt after Sunday ended it on a gray note with his departure to Japan. The start of his new life begins there.

LIFE IN JAPAN?

{"When you moved to Japan, in your old world, how did it change your life?"}

Sunday had to think about an answer but there were many, that also included his highs and lows. He sighed but nonetheless continued on with the conversation.

"Moving to Japan changed me from there. I met Mr. Mrs. Yoshida on that day. An old couple who seem to run the place for a long time now."

As slow ambient guitar music plays. It showed old pictures of the old couple. They greet Sunday, and he greets them back with politeness and a bow in fluent hiragana. Mr. Yoshida did seem happy and so was Mrs. Yoshida, Sunday seemed so embarrassed to have the first people adore him in years.

"To be honest, I felt really embarrassed to have a fan for the first time. That Mrs. Yoshida would ask for an autograph from me."

We get the scene of Mrs. Yoshida asking for an autograph, Sunday was taken aback but decide to write his name on her book. She was happy she looked like she wanted to jump for joy. Which made Sunday chuckle a little because she giggled like a child who wanted to meet her longtime fan. While Mr. Yoshida let out a hearty laugh.

"Then before settling in for a retirement home. He wanted to talk business with me. Business that no umamusume like yourself will do."

{"And what would that business be Mr. Sunday?"}

"Breeding. Selected Breeding Program. Where stallions, like myself, have lots of sex with my female counterparts. Through a cross-breeding selection program, and make children to do better in racing."

Sunday explains and we get to see him in the office of Mr. Yoshida where they talk serious business matters. He informs Sunday about his new job and ask the question in particular. "Tell me Sunday, do you know what a Stud Uma is?" Which Sunday says in return is an uma who has lots of sex with their female counterparts by cross-breeding with each other and having children to do better in racing.

The idea has taken quite the surprise for his therapist, because she herself is an umamusume. To think she would need to give birth to a few dozen foals to do better in racing sounded like gambling auctions should be legal by PETA.

"But, I had a lot of time to prepare before I get into the field of stud duties. So… my next two weeks in my life were to make friends in Shadai Stallion Station. No one wanted to be friends with me, cause you know the reason."

Sunday tried making friends by being friendly to other umamusukos, which didn’t work in his favor. In the next two weeks, nobody wanted to be his friend because of two reasons. One, he was the son of Halo who was hated by many. And two, the friendliness the black beast tried to show was through inferior dominance. Which is the main reason why everyone avoided him.

"However, there was one uma I bickered to become my friend."

{"Who would that be?"}

"Mejiro Mcqueen."

[FLASHBACK]

SHADAI STALLION STATION

Month - November
Date - Monday
Year - 1990

BAM! The thud of Sunday’s menacing stare and aggressive manner tried to startle the noble but calm and docile umamusuko.

Sunday: Ey!

No response, the umamusuko sips away his tea while reading his book. He seems unbothered…

Sunday: EY!

With a voice louder than ever, the umamusuko. This umamusuko is named Mejiro Mcqueen. He had lavender eyes, lavender hair, long but long to tie a low ponytail that hanged around his right shoulder. He looked like someone from nobility since his wears were fancy. And the black beast who came from a broken family gave a deathly glare directly at the noble uma. He ssemed unfazed until Sunday decided to end the staring contest.

Sunday: From now on, we are gonna be best friends.

There was a pause before the pristine uma’s eyes widened.

Mcqueen: …What?

[PRESENT DAY]

"From that point on, my life changed when Mcqueen entered my life."

Sunday’s personality switched from this aggressive violent umamusuko, to a more docile and friendly type. And maybe one thing is right, Sunday is lonely because nobody wanted to be close to him even back in his own hometown.

"After Mackie. I met two other people who too are from this world. Their names are Soccer Boy, and Tokai Teio. But throughout this small world with them in it, I felt my life was about to change from there once I enter stud duty."

We get a scene of him meeting Soccer Boy, to the scene with him meeting Tokai Teio throughout the years. With friends like them, Sunday could heal anytime (big doubt) soon. And on that note, is where his highs truly began to rise.

LIFE AS A STUD UMA?

{"What can you tell me abour your experiences as a stud uma. And how it affects your life?"}

Sunday began to think of an answer, he can’t just say he enjoyed it because of the pleasure, nor disliked it because of the tireless work he has to be put through. Sunday thought of an answer and said.

"It was… in between. There’s times I enjoyed it, and times I don’t. Sometimes when I got free time, all I do is sleep throughout the rest of the day, after mating one to two hundred umas a year."

Yep, we see Sunday many women with familiar faces only his children know. Most of these women he mated with are the mothers of his kids, who will be revealed one by one in the later parts of the story.

"Many of them, have affection for me. Like real love. But majority feel platonic, just their for the business. But I didn’t bother since I wasn’t really one for romance, even if I have my old fucker’s charms."

Love hurts in so many ways, but to Sunday, he didn’t bother it at all. Besides, to make more kids out of his genes did him wonders such as hearing how his first dozens of kids were able to win a G1, then another, and another, and another. Which also left him astonished that the blood in their vains runs deep in their bodies. It only made him more proud.

"Three years passed, three years of having nonstop sex… until one day I met this woman. She was beautiful, though it wasn’t just her beauty that stunned me. It was everything about her. And she…"

The music felt heavy the solo guitar strumming an ambient tune that felt sorrowful. While the mates he mated had real feelings for him. One umamusume was only for his heart. He couldn’t say the name because it will open more scars, Sunday’s lips quivered not because of how cold the room was. But because he was holding back the tears, the pain, the sadness…

With a lot or courage, the umamusuko had to blurt out a new answer to make an excuse.

"C-can we… talk about this another time…?"

With that said, the therapist watching the camera who looked at the time nodded, because she can see it. She won’t push further with the question and decides to end the therapy session.

{"Mr. Sunday, I am glad you were able to share more about your experiences in the hardships you’ve faced when you were banished by your country. But I am also more glad these people in the old world of Japan, you met people who were there to help you get up from your downs. I am very surprised to be honest, especially with this Breeding Selected Program. But if I were in your shoes, then I might have an understanding of what you have to go through during your stud duty."}

The sorrowful tune ends when she finishes writing the notes on her notepad.

{"It also seems to me that this girl you love so much meant the world to you."}

"…Yeah, for now I’ll have to hold that thought back. Just give me time to… get my courage back."

The therapist nods without needing to push him with the question any further.

{"Take care, Mr. Sunday."}

He nods and takes his leave outside the door with the recording session ending there.

[RECORDING SESSION STARTS: 🔴]

A week has passed, it’s that time as usual for Sunday. He enters inside the room once again where he is facing a mirror reflection of himself. Behind the glass, was an umamusume therapist watching from the other side to monitor his every action, reaction, and response to the things he both is fine and uncomfortable with.

We can see Sunday wearing his usual wear like last week, inhaling a breath of air and exhales afterwards. Seems the umamusuko just came straight from paperwork today, always.

He sits down and gets comfortable with the therapist on the mic speaking to him.

{"Good afternoon to you, Mr. Sunday."}

"Afternoon to you too."

{"I see you’re tired from the paperwork."}

"Yeah, well. It’s not that hard to just sign away everything with an approval, but it is time consuming. Fortunately, my girlfriend Air Groove is there to back me up in case there’s too much workload."

Yep! Sunday’s girlfriend is his wife from the old world, Air Groove. But there was quite a slight difference in personality. The Air Groove he knew was quite the clingy and affectionate type, almost like that of a gyaru. While the Air Groove of this world was far different, a more strict and studious uma holding authority as the secretary of Tracen. While she can be quite the charming woman figure of the URA, her title as Empress fits perfectly with this version of her. The only thing that stayed was their appearance, similar just without too much makeup.

The therapist was tapping her pen ready to interrogate Sunday.

{"Well, I’m glad your girlfriend is there to fill in the gaps of your workload, otherwise you’ll be stuck there overnight. Have you always been a nocturnal person?"}

Sunday’s brain clicked, the only times he can remember being nocturnal was through mating and getting drunk in booze. Which he promised himself to never do it again.

"…Back in my world, yeah… but I’d rather avoid all that, besides. Dealing with several umamusumes staring at me like a piece of meat, is less worse than nonstop mating or drinking away my problems."

AH YES! The typical Haloling charm, always so eye-catching to every man and woman’s hearts. But enough about that. Sunday needs his therapy.

The therapist chuckles and proceeds with the session.

{"Ok Mr. Sunday, since you’re here let’s start with the simple question. How are you mentally feeling?"}

"Tired, but well."

{"Is that all?"}

Sunday nods on the camera without further explanation.

LEARNING ABOUT YOU?

A guitar solo starts playing some non-copyright a Wild West theme in the background.

{"What can I learn about you as the first umamusuko in our world?"}

The jet black haired uma thought of the question she asked him before giving a direct answer.

"Well… I was once formerly known as the Black Beast. I had a father who didn’t care if I died trying to run. I was forced to grow on my own terms, make my own choices to help save my home. All that just to get fucked over by the people of my homeland and banished me."

It left a salty bitter taste in his mouth, he didn’t want to remember, but the voices of those people echoed on his head. Ever since he left the US and fled to Japan to have a retirement home. Sunday’s life changed forever when he first met his friends, entered stud career, had his own family, and faced highs and lows.

The therapist continued to question his short background.

{"Do you want to talk about it?"}

Sunday exhaled a breath of air, and shook his head.

"…No. Not ever again."

{"I’m sorry for pushing the topic."}

"It’s fine. That’s all in the past. Wherever my my brother and sisters and my mother are. I hope they’re doing better without me. And wherever my old man is, I hope he’s in whatever hell he’s gone to."

LEARNING ABOUT YOUR MOTHER?

{"What can I learn about your mother?"}

Sunday thought of an answer to not bring anything personal about her. Since he’s the only one amongst the siblings who knows a lot about her life.

"My mother’s name is Wishing Well. She is an American-thoroughbred mare who sired several foals including myself. She had raced before along the lines with thirty six starts, twelve of them are her wins."

An old grainy picture of an uma with long bay colored hair, white stripped bangs along between the follicles of her hair, and with eyes similar to King Halo is Wishing Well. You can say, she looked almost like a prototype copy of King Halo before he was around.

"She was a fiery type of momma who never backed down on a race. Truth be told, majority of her wins were on the Autumn Days Handicap, Convenience Stakes, National Orange Show, Gamely Handicap, Wilshire Handicap, and the Las Cienegas Handicap."

The mentioned wins of Wishing Well portrayed pictures flipping over each frame like an old school camera.

"She met my old man on a one night stand, not too far on Paris, Kentucky. And then somehow fell for him. And my dad was the volatile and malevolent kind of uma to both his kind and humans, and was hated by many."

Sunday sighs, because he knows the therapist will get onto that part later. Fortunately he has time to breathe and continues with the session.

"After that, I was born. And so are my full blooded and half-blooded younger sisters, Sunday’s Sis, Thisis Mylifestyle, Penny Up, and Sunday Wish."

In a family photo, it was pictures him and four other girls who we can assume are his sisters. The first uma mentioned had brown hair and soft pink eyes with a gentle smile is Sunday’s Sis. The second with chesnut hair with light red eyes and a more tomboyish personality is Thisis Mylifestyle, the third was a jet black haired uma with amber eye color, clinging to Sunday Silence is Penny Up. And the last one who seems to shy away from the rest of the siblings with bay hair and magenta pink eyes was Sunday Wish just behind her big brother.

"They’re different from Goodbye Halo and Devil’s Bag because both were sired by different dams or mothers in your case. And how they see me, I’m like the middle child in all my siblings."

There were two pictures in place which Sunday describes picture shown on screen.

The first one was Devil’s Bag. Devil had a dark bay mane that reaches below his shoulders and is quite spiky. He has dark blue eyes, cold, but carry a charm that made him both attractive and intimidating. He has this… cool, sweet, unfazed kind of personality. He did not have Halo’s demeanor, and behaves professionally when chaos took in an complete stride.

The second was Goodbye Halo. She had long flowing chesnut hair with an appearance that looks like an exact copy of PD King Halo. She has light red eyes and was not like her half-older brother. And dominated many G1s throughout her careeer. But not be fooled by her beauty, as she was known to be a fired up, cranky, and temperamental type of uma inheriting her father’s notorious personality.

LEARNING ABOUT YOUR FATHER?

{"You will not like this, Mr. Sunday. But I want to personally learn something about your Father."}

The music stops and it changes into a suspenseful ambience that builds up slow burn and tension.

Sunday’s world completely stopped, if anything or anyone questions him about his origin. They would likely ask who their father is. Sunday started sweating, breathing in every possible air he could escape from his breath. He closed his eyes and lets any negative thought go.

{"…Mr. Sunday?"}

“Yeah… sorry, I just had…"

Sunday couldn’t find the right words to describe him other than…

"…A lot of bad blood. In a sense that even everyone part of his bloodline is hated. Hated for whatever he did to pass this curse."

He remembered all the things he had done to him when he was little, but he couldn’t just bring it up to the therapist because he was scared, no, not scared. But concerned and worried with what he might do to his own family, when he summons in this world.

"I don’t wanna think about him, not right now, not while my kids are here and attending school. If he does come here, things are going get ugly between us. Real ugly."

The therapist observes, she knew asking him this answer will turn a switch on his mind. He looked like he was about to blow up because Sunday was slowly hyperventilating. Not out of fear, out of concern. Concern for what his father will do when he’s on this world. To change the subject quickly she drops the topic to defuse the situation.

{"I will drop the subject now, I’m sorry if you feel like I’ve offended you in a way-"}

"NO- No… it’s, it’s fine. Just… don’t ever mention him."

No further questioning was required, the therapist proceeds with the next topic.

LEARNING ABOUT YOUR BROTHER?

After a two minute break, Sunday finally calms down with a new topic in the therapist’s mind.

And this time, the music became more like a triumphant theme, something you’d hear in old 18th century America.

{"What can I learn about your brother?"}

"Well, I’ve said the things about my half-brother being a cool, unfazed type of uma. He was known for being the favorite for the U.S. Triple Crown series."

A magazine for the Blood Uma showed a picture of Devil’s Bag throughout his three year session.

"He had a whopping nine starts, and eight of them are his wins and was widely known by many as the best American uma since Secretariat’s time."

There was a video footage of him winning his first five starts claiming him undefeated. This included the Crowdin Stakes, the G1 Champagne Stakes (he broke Seattle Slew’s (Kawakami’s grandfather) stake record) and broke the Laurel Futurity in track-record time.

Devil was also known for the Eclipse Award Champion as a two year old Colt.

In his last final hours of running in the derby would be in his three year old session. Winning the Flamingo Prep Stakes, Forerunner Purse, and the Derby Trial Stakes. His career would shortly end in a dead fourth place at the Flamingo Stakes when he suffered a subsequent knee bone chip that ended his racing career before the Triple Crown.

"And, he was also the womanizer."

…Really Sunday? Ok. Well yeah, when he moved to Japan he started his stud uma duties and banged many girls.

"But out of his five hundred kids, he had a few notable progenitors and one of them is here."

{"Who would that be?"}

"Taiki Shuttle."

Sunday remembered having a reunion with his brother and sister. But he also remembered seeing a litte boy who had chesnut hair like his mother and aqua blue eyes like his father. He hides behind his papa when Sunday first saw the little cowboy. But what he was taken aback by was Taiki had always been a physically strong uma since birth, but has the brain of a peanut. But in truth, he was a calm, gentle, and intelligent kind of kid. Thankfully he never inherited his dad’s personality otherwise it’d be the other way around.

LEARNING ABOUT YOUR SISTER?

{"What can I learn about your sister?"}

"Which one?"

{“Your eldest."}

"Ah… Goodbye Halo."

Sunday had to think once more about the background of his sister before he can speak. After a moment of pause, Sunday spoke.

"Goodbye Halo, my eldest sister. Did not also have a great childhood. She had similar experiences with my old man, but enough about him. I’ll talk about her racing career before she retired."

Sunday said so he wouldn’t go nuts in front of his therapist.

"She was trained by the same trainer I had when I was still active in racing, Charlie Whittingham."

The picture of an old man standing next to Goodbye Halo was Charlie Whittingham. A man who had decades of experience handling even the toughest of umas like him and his sister.

"In her early years of running she was widely known for her competitiveness against high-classes of legendary umas like Winning Colors. Her first real game was in the Demoiselle Stakes and the Hollywood Starlet Stakes. The year after that she dominated prestigious races like Kentucky Oaks, Mother Goose Stakes, Coaching Club American Oaks, and Las Virgenes Stakes. And finally before retiring. she dominated the La Canada Stakes, El Encino Stakes, and Chula Vista Handicap. Sometimes I begin to mistake her if she was my momma. Same personality, almost similar looks, and is quite brash when it comes to her own nobility in status as a 7-10 winner streak."

Well, I can’t be denied. During her early two year session she showed real dominance in her first G1s, like the Demoiselle Stakes and the Hollywood Starlet Stakes.

Then her victories continued on later in prestigious G1 races like the Kentucky Oaks, Mother Goose Stakes, Coaching Club American Oaks, and Las Virgenes Stakes.

And finally in her last years of racing, she dominated the La Canada Stakes, El Encino Stakes, and Chula Vista Handicap before finishing her racing career and retiring later in the 1990s.

"It’s a good thing she didn’t suffer an injury unlike me and my older brother. She was qualified later to become a broodmare and then moved to Japan, where she had a kid name King Halo."

Just as Sunday interrogates his therapist about his old world and how umas work and his family relations. We see Goodbye with a small child in her arms, sitting in her lap, that has brown hair similar to hers and brownish creek eyes. This kid is King Halo. The soon to be first G1 winner who suffered from trying again and again.

"The only sad part, is she never found happiness in racing… But me and my brother Devil found that when we had true love towards our primary mates."

Devil met Welsh Muffin, Sunday met three women in his life. Campaign Girl, Air Groove, and Wind in Her Hair. Their lives changed drastically because of them. And it only made Sunday feel more bad about his sister Goodbye. Because that wasn’t the only reason why she felt unhappy…

The therapist writes everything down on her notes while making sure to keep the personal details she won’t force him out to talk about.

DO YOU HAVE REGRETS?

{"Do you have any regrets?"}

As she asked this question, the music returns to a guitar strumming a peaceful theme that sounded solemn.

"…Lots, a lot of them. But I dunno where to even start it off."

Sunday’s ears dropped in camera, you can really see his eyes go dark shaking his head like he knew he might’ve fucked up so many times.

{"What would be your biggest regret?"}

Sunday looked at the camera, ear still down, but gave a forced smile trying to hold in the pain.

"Being alive. Living with a curse I can never stray far from. And succumbing to things that put me in situations that were life threatening at times…"

Remember the music video, we viewed Sunday’s whole life with ups and downs. They were illustrated so perfectly in sync with the music he played. The therapist saw this and she too cannot bear to see him do this to himself.

{"Always remember this, Mr. Sunday. The old world did not do anything to help you overcome your own fears and problems. Which led you to doing it all alone at the cost of your own sanity."}

She was not wrong. Sunday knew full well thanks to the files and documents on Rudolf and the Director’s concern for his mental health. It’s sickening when you think about the people that tried to help you, leave you behind because they don’t know how to help or even care less about an uma’s own mental health.

{"But here, we will do our very best as long as you play your part by healing yourself. If not only for me, for your children, your mates, your friends, your girlfriend, and your brothers and sisters in the old world. Do it for them, do it for them because you too want to be loved, be happy, and be able to smile like you always do."}

"…Yeah…"

Sunday only could nod looking away from the camera. She takes notes while feeling sad about Sunday. After a few seconds the therapist spoke about their session ending.

{"Our session is about to end soon, and I just want to point out that you did great at sharing me more about your background of you, your family, and with how many regrets you carry over your shoulders. But as your therapist, I will help you remove them one by one, that way you will heal faster from those open wounds that were left bleeding for years. I will not share anything personal to Director Akikawa and the Student Council President herself, only you can give me permission to share what you personally feel so that I may notify them about your concerns. Is that okay?"}

Sunday gave a brief nod before sighing.

{"Thank you again, Mr. Sunday. See you next week, and have a nice evening.")

"Thanks…"

Sunday leaves the table with the camera ending the session.

The five minute mark is up. It’s time for Sunday’s first therapy session.

{"Before we start our therapy session. I want you to know whenever you feel uncomfortable with talking about very specific topics that could spark violent behavior and aggression, you have every right to express just as long as it doesn’t involve hurting yourself. As for any kind of shared information to the public will stay inside this room. So you don’t need to worry about anyone going after you for experiments or the URA’s own extremist point of view. Tracen Academy and its staff administrators will back you up in case of unexpected threats or unwanted agents after you."}

"I see."

{"Can you give me a nod on the camera if you want to proceed with our session?"}

Sunday looks at the camera and lightly bobs his head up and down signifying a nod

{"Good. Just remember what I said Mr. Sunday, feel free to express your violent thoughts and aggression as long as it doesn’t involve hurting yourself."}

The umamusuko in question could not verify if it will involve hurting himself. So he gave a blunt but straightforward answer.

"No promises, but I’ll try my best."

The therapist umamusume sighed but she understood why, thanks to the file reports on his own mental health issues involving the old world. She didn’t push the question further and proceeded to ask him several simple questions.

HOW ARE YOU TODAY?

A simple calm guitar solo is heard in the background as Sunday began to speak in the camera.

{"How are you feeling today, Mr. Sunday?"}

"Honestly, I feel... A little happier. It’s kinda strange that now I’m in a world where I get to be with my kids. They may be different from the previous life I had. But, I love them no matter who they are. Be it a another world or another timeline. I’ll always love them."

IS LIFE BETTER THAN YOUR OLD WORLD?

{"Does this world feel the same like how it was back in your old world?"}

"Kind of yes, and kind of no. Because… life’s very short for us unlike you umas in this world. We get to live for thirty years, you got a hundred more."

We see an old grainy footage of umas living in the Sunday Silence World, versus the umas living in the Pretty Derby World. The umas of Sunday’s world were taller, bigger than the average person, they age faster and have both male and female anatomy. Meanwhile in the world of Pretty Derby they were the complete opposites. Being mostly mares/female umas, and are the average person’s height, and they age slower than humans.

WHAT ARE YOU EXPECTING FROM THIS WORLD?

{"What are you expecting from this world, Mr. Sunday?")

Sunday pauses before speaking his thoughts out.

"A lot of things that might still feel the same, I guess. Shadai Farm Stallion, the greenery of the fields I walk on, my homeland and the farm in Kentucky I onced saved… I know it’s a different world but I expect the little things like that to stay."

She nods and writes it down on her notepad while proceeding with the next question.

DO YOU WISH FOR YOUR SIBLINGS TO JOIN YOU?

{"Do you hope for your brother and sister to be part of this world?"}

"Of course! At any time and day even as the heavens unfold. I’d like to see them here in the new world where we can start a new life."

HOW ARE YOUR KIDS?

{"How are your kids after the whole theater incident?"}

"Greatful, happy, blessed. I know I didn’t have all the time in the old world to attend to their needs…"

We see Sunday in Tracen Academy eating with Spe-chan in the cafeteria, Marvelous jumping up and down as she followed her father to the main gates, Neo and her dad stargazing together outside the dorms, Fuji being taught by Sunday newer magic tricks.

"But if this world is giving me a second chance. I will use this chance to make it up for them like I did in my old world."

Scenes of Sunday stopping by Tachyon’s lab to drop her lunch after working overnight, to him and Cafe having coffee together while talking, to Sunday teaching Suzuka a way to massage her legs so she doesn’t end up getting injured, to Sunday being hugged by Ayabe-chan because she felt emotional from the music video Abby showed them.

DO YOU LOVE YOUR KIDS?

{"Do you love them like you did in the old world?"}

"With all my heart, yeah… I love them all equally the same."

We see scenes of Sunday Silence attending the needs of his kids. The one and only thing he couldn’t make up for because his attention was needed somewhere else. But things are different now, his kids who all share the same bloodline as he does feel the same parental responsibility and love towards him as the parent.

"They are my flesh and blood."

Sunday gives a kiss on Pandora’s forehead to Admire Groove and Air Groove having dinner together back at his home.

"My pride and joy."

Sunday was teaching Bubble Gum Fellow how to skate like how he did back then. With Stay Gold and Sunday traveling the quiet side of Japan.

"My greatest blessings and my shining stars."

Still In Love was teaching her father how to make jam for the first time as a way to bond together. To Durandal playing swords with him like the old nostalgic times he had with the real world Durandal. And finally to Sunday in a library putting a blanket on top of Rob Roy from falling asleep while reading.

"I love them all the same."

The last scene was with the entire Sundaylings taking a picture, thanks to the help of Curren Chan. They all took a picture together like one big happy family.

The therapist finishes writing her notes down in monitoring Sunday’s overall condition. As she speaks up into the mic.

{"That’s all the time we have for now, Mr. Sunday. I’m glad you shared me your thoughts and feelings about this world and how you’re doing today. I’m glad to hear you opened up your emotions to me."}

"Geez, it’s nothing. I’m… just glad I can have something to ease my mind away from the pain."

Sunday smiled in the camera. One that was genuine with warmth to that of the music video. It was cute.

{"Thank you for your time today, Mr. Sunday."}

"Thank you too for listening"

There was a slight pause before the therapist said.

{"Take care, I will see you again next week, Mr. Sunday."}

The light strum of the guitar ends with him waving at the camera, before packing up with the recording session ending there.

[RECORDING SESSION STARTS: 🔴]

It’s been a months since he got here, a month that he revives. In a new world, and the same old him. A world where umas are no longer opposite sexes but the same spieces with no connections of their real lives.

In a room we see a figure, wearing simple slate jeans and work shoes, with a black t-shirt showing the bodybuild he carried in all places. The figure who looks to be inside a small room, it was quite small. Surrounding only about a 4x4 square foot with a single seat and table that stretches far enough like a picnic table, with a digital camera that had a built in microphone on it with windows that reflects the mirror from his view. On the other side, someone was watching to make sure he was monitored by all means. The figure was an umamusuko, tall and buff with jet black hair and a white stripped in the middle of his bangs. He had two eye colors, red on the left, yellow on the right. There are several scars everywhere in his body which were part of his history in the other world.

{"Ok Mr. Sunday Silence, you may proceed."}

A female voice from the other side spoke, likely an umamusume. The camera zooms in slightly close enough to have his whole body

"Right…"

Sunday glances at the camera his glance was hard as a boulder ready to trample you flat. But eyes with the slightest hint of pain he hid from many he couldn’t bear to look at and say he needed help. So, now is the time he gets the help he needs this time. By sharing his thoughts, his stories, and all the things that his old world was connected to the Pretty Derby Universe.

Yes, you heard me folks. This is Sunday Silence. Now in the new world with the same family, but all different personalities. And are now all girls (except for the ones he knew like his mates and daughters are mares in the old world) living different lives without any connections to their counterparts. Since the presence of Abby bringing these girls (his kids, friends, acquaintances, and mates) they knew their world was built under the utopia of the original world. Where these umas live a second life and a second chance. The original world in question, shall we call it… the Sunday Silence World.

And now, we are here seeing Sunday of his world, interrogated in a room with a therapist to not only understand what his world was like. But to help him through the trauma and suffering he had endured for so long, a step by step process and guide to ease the pain piece by piece.

“As you already know, thanks from the help of Director Akikawa and Symboli Rudolf. I’m Sunday Silence, the first Umamusuko in the world of Pretty Derby. Or was summoned by her from the wishes of my kids that defiled the Three Goddesses fate."

Sunday inhales a deep and continues to talk on the mic.

"And I’m not the only one. A few of my other sons on the old world were summoned to join their sisters. Run with them, play with them, talk and have conversations with them."

Black Tide, Deep Impact, Heart’s Cry, Gold Allure, On Fire, Daiwa Major, and many more of his mentioned sons. Are now part of this new world with the same family. Sunday pauses for five seconds and continues afterward.

"I’ll do my best to cooperate and not let loose like an animal if it means to help me guide me to be better person."

{"Thank you for your short introduction, Mr. Sunday. Now that we have your first Entry Log. We’ll give you a five minute break before we proceed with our next session."}

"Understood."

The camera turns off with the first session done.

HOKKAIDO

Month - April
Date - Wednesday
Year - 2020

It was a loney night, the sounds of crickets buzzing their wings making the atmosphere feel lively. We get the view of a moon, now a highway where there were no cars to be seen. Later the sound of a bike driving through the highway came from a Harley Davidson Sportster, a bike ridden frequently by most bikers for show. The revving of its engine comes to a halt and parks on a parking lot with no one in it. The hour was close to midnight.

The individual in question, was an umamusuko, tall and lean, stature looks like that of a stud. He wore a biker’s leather jacket with black tights and heavy duty boots on. As he takes off the helmet. We get to see who was behind the handle bars of such an expensive motorbike. Chestnut hair, spikey in the style of a wolfcut, red eyes like that of his father, but darker.

The umamusuko walks into a nearby bench to place things down on the seat. An amplifier, guitar, and a small bag that had something personal inside it.

The stud had a toothy grin and shook his head. He sits down to think for a few seconds by staring at the moon. The wind blowing over his hair like a cool breeze in the lonely night. Then stares at the small bag which he opened.

There was a lighter, a pack of redmill cigars, a small bottle of rum, and a box containing very personal items he didn’t dare open.

So the first thing he did was open the pack of cigars, only one left, using the lighter he lights the last cigar to blow smoke out his mouth. Ten minutes later, he drinks the entire small bottle of rum to warm up then goes back to smoking.

A minute has passed, the uma stares at the small box containing secrets. Secrets that he and a few of his trusted siblings can understand. When he opens it, we see what’s inside it. Memories, lots of them containing someone he knows was no longer in this world.

"Hmm…"

There were items like a half heart necklace with him, but younger, kissing someone on the other side of the missing heart. Love letters shared by the person he communicates with through mail. Then a small empty bottle of perfume containing the same aroma and scent that she carried. Finally the last items are four different pictures. Then scrolls through the photos till he reaches the last one. It was special because it had a woman with dark bay colored hair covering one eye, in biker clothing, her wide grin giving off a tomboyish vibe which adds charm to her style. At the back, you can see writing.

"WILL YOU MARRY ME?"
-D Major

"…"

What makes this sentence so much more special, was the wedding ring attached behind it. Ready to be offered to her. But… that day never came…

>!On April 1st, 2014. Vodka had suffered laminitis after kicking a concrete wall. Doctors rushed her to the hospital for surgery to remove inflammation tissues that got stuck in her hind leg during the kick. Because they had no way to treat the worsening condition. They euthanized her as a way of mercy. Passing away at the age of 14.!<

Daiwa Major, a descending bloodline of the legendary Sunday Silence, was the uma who we are viewing. He sighed and put the pictures back inside the small box. Locking it safely before putting everything inside the small bag.

Two minutes later, Major had fully set his gig, a photogenic six string semi-electric acoustic guitar done in satin wood with a woodcreek etched finished. He tunes the tabs down to Eb Flat (D# Sharp) tuning. When he was done, he strums the chords a little bit hearing the noise come from his amplifier. Then sits down to look at the moonlight.

"Six years, six whole years, six damn years she no longer exist."

He starts strumming a familiar tune. While he continues talking.

"I moved on, I met Kawakami. Got married and had a kid with her."

Major who met Kawakami Princess, the descendant of King Halo, changed him that day. Memories flood with him and her. Their first meeting, their first date, the wedding that night, and their first child together who they named George Barows.

"But… it’s been awhile since I last talked about her to someone. Or anyone I can talk to about."

To others, they might be thinking about him missing a dead person who cannot be brought back. Or even move on from the past. No, it wasn’t like that. It was more like a message, a very personal one that was kept secret for a long time. Containing too many words he had written six years ago when he was in caught in a shit storm, trapped in a fever dream he could never overcome.

But tonight, he was doing better. And this night, he wants to sing a song that could reach her soul to pass on the afterlife.

"I didn’t come here all the way to tell how you are."

Major can sense a presence, but also the sweet scent that was similar to that perfume bottle he had earlier.

"I came here to tell you I’m doing better, to tell you I’ve moved on, to tell you I forgive you. Even… when you are no longer in this world."

Major closes his eyes and said the very person that made a lump his throat. A hard to swallow pill that would come to accepting the truth.

"Vodka."

—TO BE CONTINUED

PS: Pardon me if I removed it, I had to slightly change the grammatical errors and add a bit more sentences to the context of the fic. Anyway here we are with more angst.

Let’s see how popular this music video fic is gonna get. I see it still closing in to 500 reads. Not as popular as the other three. But if it gets to a certain number, then I’ll make the other one. So give me time to make it.
