Yesterday Hannah Banana crossed over the rainbow bridge.
I’m just utterly devastated, I never saw this coming and I’m still pretty traumatized. Hannah was the sweetest bun you’d ever meet, and she had such a wonderful personality. Words cannot describe how much I miss her yet I feel compelled to try and explain it.
She could always tell when I got home and would be waiting for me, whenever she wanted kisses I’d give her plenty and in return she’d do the same. She had a habit of burying her head under my hand and I’d pet her, and when I would stop she would do the same thing every time, 5 little kisses then burrow. 5 little kisses then burrow.
I won’t waste any more of your time reading this and say, don’t ever take these little guys for granted. Bunnies are masters at hiding pain until the very end, and it is very hard to notice the warning signs until hindsight kicks in.
We will miss you Hannah, so very very much.
