Something strange has been spotted in the skies above Korea, while things over Kimpo have once again become far too loud.

All the details are right in front of you!

On June 25, 1950, a complex and controversial war began on the Korean Peninsula—a conflict that would become one of the most significant of the 20th century.

Over three years of hostilities, the front line swept back and forth across the entire peninsula, ultimately settling near the very line where the war began, leaving the country divided into two nearly equal parts.

The conflict was unique in nature: it brought together the cutting-edge technology and expertise of the era's most powerful nations, pitting different generations of aircraft—and contrasting approaches to aerial combat—against one another in the skies over Korea. While jet aviation firmly established itself as a formidable new force, piston-engine aircraft continued to play a vital role. It was a clash not only of ideologies but of entire eras.

The Korean War is often referred to as the "Forgotten War," partly because it lacked a clear-cut victor. We believe it is crucial to keep the events of this period alive in our collective memory and to ensure that as many people as possible learn about this complex time. That is why we chose this chapter of our shared history for the "Korea" installment of IL-2 Series. Though less widely known than many other conflicts, it is a fascinating and vital part of history that must be remembered.

In the “Profile” section, open the “Download” subsection and click “Download” under “Korea. IL-2 Series Installation”: https://il2-series.com/en/download/
Download the launcher. Run the launcher.
The game client will start downloading automatically. Click “Play”.
