Wife’s boss gifted us a genuine Turkish rug yesterday. It really ties the room together.

Her boss said we could take any rug in the house. Not sure but I think it’s some kind of Eastern thing.

TIL there’s a deleted scene in OG Alien called Eggmorphing

Hello fellow xenomorph connoisseurs,

it’s possible I’ve watched the original Alien over 100 times. I think it is one of the greatest movies of all time, let alone sci-fi genre. Somehow though just today I found the infamous Dallas/Brett deleted scene on YouTube. I find this concept fantastically disturbing. Dallas’ agony of being slowly digested alive. Brett already having partially dissolved. It is the most disturbing concept in the entire Alien universe imo. I assume this is like being slowly digested like a fly stuck in a Venus flytrap. While I understand Scott’s desire to cut it, I do wish they’d found some way to get it in there.
