Just got this bad boy back from the shop I got a custom cerakote job done on. AR in 5.56 10.3 inch with the Manticore Arms Ripley Rail.
And here it is
Apologies if this has been asked before but….
When the drop ship was coming to pick up the survivors to nuke the site from orbit, were they just… leaving Bishop behind?
😭
Finally finished my 3d printed pulse rifle. Took about 4 days to print and 3 days to paint all the different coats. I think it turned out really well.
One thing I can't help but think of sometimes, is a cool Alien film idea where a "Xenomorph Outbreak" kinda similar to the comic series by Dark Horse Comics, but it would be in a quiet rural American town, where slowly over time, people begin to go missing, with the town believing that there's a serial killer or possibly more than one, but some people are attached by facehuggers, with the town obviously not knowing what to do and have never seen something like this before. Do we know if some people on Earth actually KNOW what Xenomorphs are or have at least HEARD of Xenomorphs, or do they just think that they're just some "space creatures" that have killed some people on different colonies?? I also feel like it would be REALLY interesting and scary if it would seeing a rural isolated town trying to find out what's going on and how the town kinda similar to the original JAWS film in terms of not knowing what to do, with a group of people who would try to find out what's going on and investigate what's going on too. While I understand why that probably wouldn't really work, but to me at least, I've honestly always kinda thought how interesting it would be seeing the perspective of people on Earth react to a Xenomorph outback too! That's just what I think, though. :)
Thought I’d share my ceramic Facehugger mug. There are things I’ll change for the next version but I like this.
Aliens barely tells us anything about Vasquez before LV-426, but the expanded lore goes surprisingly deep.
She grew up in Los Angeles, spent time in juvenile prison, joined the Colonial Marines alongside Drake, and even had twins she was forced to leave behind. Her family story continued long after her death on LV-426.
I put together Vasquez's full story, including her relationship with Drake, her children and relatives, earlier bug hunts, and her final stand with Gorman:
I love Rain so much and hoping for seeing her more

Was at Henk Comics in Amsterdam and found this Xenomorph toy (I hope it’s Alien atleast), and I remember seeing before, but I don’t know where.
Does anyone know what it is?
It has a very unique head crest like a Mowhawk, wings that flap if push down a button and feet that can snap shut like it can grab prey or something.
Not complaining about it though, it looks cool and was only 15 bucks.
ETA: gotta work on my funny voice....
Who can even tell with those guys anyway? But, like how could a hypersleep pod work for both a human and a cat? Isn't that an expensive way to boost morale? Wouldn't it be cheaper for W-Y to install a synth cat on board to observe, at least keep the humans company in their pens, and maybe feed Ash and MU/TH/UR actionable intel?
I went through all 7 failed Ripley clones from Alien: Resurrection and tried to piece together what each one actually was.
The novelization gives quite a bit more detail than the movie, especially for Clones 1–6. Ripley 7 is still easily the most disturbing.
Also included the comic and PlayStation game versions, plus some behind-the-scenes details.
Maybe focussing on other parts of this universe, diving more into weyland yutani, the robots, engineers or even new creatures? There must be more other distinct aliens in this Universe right?
