How long do you think it'll take for the next game to release. Mighty Cuphead Adventure or Cuphead 2

I think the mighty Cuphead Adventure won't take as long since it's not the hand drawn style of the main series. But they said they only STARTED working on the sequel so if I had to guess it's gonna be 10 years lol

How much influence do you think Gurren Lagann had on gen Atlas?

The whole riding around in a robot head and connecting to other mechs is def from Gurren Lagann. Tho I don't think the end product will be as colorful or over the top

Anyone else worried the sequel will be a giant dumpster fire🗑️🔥lol ( also I don't think the first game needed a follow up)

After all this time I think I am of the opinion that the issue with the sequel was never that I didn't think it WOULD be released but rather it SHOULDN'T be released. The first game is kinda designed to leave u wanting more, and that's what made people desire a sequel. However, being left with a feeling of wanting is different to actually getting it. With all the behind the scenes drama that the new telltale hasn't explained away. All the rumors about rewrites, episodes being short and the first games staff falling out with Telltale. None of this feels like it's building to anything positive to say the least. I think it's obvious that whatever hypothetical perfect sequel we could have gotten was killed years ago. My worry is we're not going to get a bad game but a mediocre one. Something that could have been farted out by ChatGBT in maybe a year or two if it had competent people who understood financing. I'm gonna go into this with my expectations low, and I think we should look at the remaster to get a feeling as to what the sequel will be like. If it's a hack job that's worse than the original then it's all but confirmed.

I guess the rumors of a top down Zelda inspired game weren't true 😞

A while ago there were rumors that the developers next was gonna be a Zelda inspired game with their hand drawn style. Tho I'm glad we're getting more cuphead I was excited to see a new IP. Can't help but feel a little dissapointed

Saw this Really interesting video today going over the psychology and political implications of the character Rorschach

It's interesting going back and rereading Watchmen now because when I first read it as a kid I thought it was good but it hits a lot harder. I especially didn't notice the first time that Alan Morse critique of the superhero, or I guess vigilantes in general is that they're inherently fascistic in nature. It's especially insane in this media landscape where you have all of these incell edits of literally me characters. When in reality, the whole point of the character is to critique aspects of culture that are harmful and self-destructive like Patrick Bateman, for example.
