Why is OBG Posting so trash in Internship?

Just got done with 6 weeks of OBG posting.

They keep pushing the excuse that its a govt college and interns dont need to spend more than 5K/month and shit on ourselves. Even if you tell you don’t have money, they’d tell show the SMS from college regarding stipend. Spent half my stipend of 1st month buying shit for these pgs. Snacks, dinner, medications, blinkit/zomato deliveries and shit.

  1. Juniors get blamed for everything. Senior forgot to write vitals (seriously) > blames it on junior. Senior didn’t charge her phone > blames it on junior, Senior misplaced her iPhone cable, blamed it on junior and asked him to buy new phone.

  2. Senior takes junior’s stethoscope, loses it. Blames it on junior saying he’s supposed to take care of it and run around to pay attention even if its with the PG. Lost a Littmann on 1st posting of internship itself.

  3. Some also dump all their duties on us and sit and gossip. If you tell them you dk how to do episiotomy they’d just scream at you in front of everyone. The only thing not left is getting slapped in front of all.

  4. Did more errands than earn some shit. Parked professor’s car 16 times, brought zomato deliveries for PGs from college gate till doctors lounge which in itself takes 3K steps. And ofc food is from our own money.

  5. Best part is despite doing all this the entire batch that was posted in obg got at least 3 days extension bare minimum.

Are main notes & textbook reading of select topics only way to ace INI now?

The way they’re asking questions i wonder what to do next.
