How do I stop wasting so much time traveling to get materials for building?
I just unlocked trains, and I thought that it would solve everything if I built a place to store all the common items I require in one place, but its so time consuming to build train tracks from such far places and set up logistics for train stations. Then I learnt that these are called central malls or centralized storages and a lot of people think they are useless because of dimensional depots which I didnt know were a thing because I haven't unlocked that part in the MAM because I didn't know they existed and haven't found any SAM yet.
Il have everything connected through hypertubes but it stills kinda gets annoying to travel so far through them and remember the paths through so many intertwining tubes
So, my question is whether I should do trains to set up a central storage or instead explore a bit trying to complete the SAM research tree. I'm looking for convenience, not a pretty building
And what other common solutions or setups do people make?
