SBI Funds Management IPO could be one of July’s biggest — would you apply if the valuation is around ₹11–13K crore issue size?

SBI Funds Management has already filed its DRHP, and the issue is expected to be a complete OFS of around 20.37 crore shares.

Reports are suggesting an early/mid-July launch, but the final dates, price band and issue value are still awaited.

The brand and AUM scale will obviously attract attention, but since the company itself won’t receive any IPO proceeds, valuation will probably matter a lot.

Would you apply because of the SBI name and AMC business, or wait to see how it is priced?

July could be packed with some big IPO names — which one are you watching?

A few large companies are being discussed for the upcoming IPO pipeline:

  • SBI Funds Management — asset management
  • Manipal Hospitals — healthcare
  • Zepto — quick commerce
  • TruHome Finance — housing finance
  • Dhoot Transmission — auto components
  • InCred Holdings — financial services
  • Symbiotec Pharmalab — pharmaceuticals
  • Tonbo Imaging — defence and imaging technology

Quite a mix this time — finance, healthcare, quick commerce, auto, pharma and defence.

Not all dates are confirmed yet, so the final launch calendar can still change.

For me, Zepto will probably bring the most hype, but SBI Funds and Manipal Hospitals may attract more serious long-term interest.

Which one are you actually excited for?

June IPO lineup is getting interesting — which one are you actually tracking?

This month has a pretty unusual mix of upcoming mainboard IPOs:

  • Turtlemint Fintech — June 19 to June 23
  • Advit Jewels — June 23 to June 25
  • Aastha Spintex — expected soon; around ₹160 Cr fresh issue
  • Cordelia Cruises — expected soon; around ₹727 Cr fresh issue
  • Lohia Corp — expected soon; 4.22 crore shares through OFS, 10% retail quota
  • Knack Packaging — expected soon; ₹475 Cr fresh issue + 70 lakh shares OFS

Fintech, jewellery, textiles, cruises, manufacturing and packaging — quite a mixed lineup.

Turtlemint and Cordelia Cruises stand out to me because of the sectors, but I’m curious what everyone else is watching.

Which one looks most interesting to you, and why?

What do you guys check before applying for an IPO?

I’m curious how people here decide whether to apply for an IPO or skip it.

For me, I usually check:

  • Financials
  • Valuation
  • Debt
  • OFS / promoter selling
  • Subscription trend
  • GMP, but only as a sentiment indicator

But honestly, I feel a lot of retail investors look at GMP first and decide from there

What’s your personal checklist before applying?
