The first time I got yelled at in military training was because of The Bachelor

I started watching at Arie's season because my name is Becky and there was a Becca and Bekah. Then naturally I watched Becca's season. I left for training during that season.

Checking into military training, it's rough, but it's chill compared to the following weeks. The first day, I saw people pestering the instructors with silly questions, and getting their asses chewed out. I thought, "would people just try being invisible?"

Anyway, the bunk beds were assigned in alphabetical order. They had no railing on the top bunk. I ended up getting a top bunk. One of the instructors was yelling something like, "if you have a top bunk and fall off, it's your fault!!!!"

I whispered to the lady in the bottom bunk next to mine (who was next to me in the alphabet and I had already talked to a bit), "have you seen The Bachelor?" She laughed and said yes, and I whispered something like, "I don't want to be like the Chicken,"

(The guyin the chicken suit was the dude who fell off his bunk and got sent home).

So one of the instructors saw me smiling, had heard the word, "Chicken," and demanded to know what I was talking about. I literally had to explain the Chicken contestant falling off his bunk in The Bachelor...

The instructor left me alone after she shouted to the squad bay, "NO ONE IS GOING TO BE A CHICKEN!!!"

So yeah, I was off to a great start

A couple years ago an old boss of mine said that he lost his aunt on 9/11, she was on one of the planes that hit the WTC. Of course I did not ask any follow-up questions, but now I'm curious.

Clues:

-Boss was 41 when 9/11 happened. So maybe an aunt would be between 51 and 81? Not very helpful, I know.

-Not sure if boss is genetically related to aunt. Boss is very dark hispanic, but has a white man last name, Scott. His maternal grandmother was from Lebanon.

-Boss is from Yonkers, New York. He's never mentioned having relatives in Boston, but he does have family in Los Angeles. He's a huge Dodgers fan so this is how I know this. So maybe more likely his aunt is from California, and were in the Boston area for some reason.

The thing is, I've tried to go through the list of AA11 and UA175 passengers, but no one sticks out. I know he's not making this up, he was kind of upset when he mentioned his aunt, and has never mentioned her any other time
