I currently have two LG 27GP83B-B monitors. They're great, but I would like better contrast (the blacks look really gray) and higher brightness. My desk is next to a window basically and I wish the monitor could be brighter.

OLEDs don't really work for me because they don't get as bright and I do a lot of productivity work involving static imagery. I do like to game and watch videos, but most of my time on these monitors is spent working.

I'm basically debating between an IPS and VA Mini-LED monitor and I'm not sure what to go with. I hear VA monitors are doing better with HVA technology, but it's hard to go with if it truly ruins accuracy and if the viewing angles are really bad. A lot of Mini-LED IPS monitors seem to get more blooming due to their low native contrast ratio and they get really expensive.

Anyone have any recommendations? I don't want to spend above $500 and I want to keep it at 27" and 1440p.

I mean a 401k, I heard it's to invest so you'll make 401k/year in retirement. But if money loses half its value, will they eventually call it an 802k? It's harder to live off 401k/year in the future.

It's really easy to get a job, but people tend to overcomplicate it. Honestly, all you have to do is put your put your best foot forward and go up to a recruiter and say, "Hey, I'd like one job please" kind of like how you'd order food. Yes! It's that easy!

They'll be amazed by your effort and hire you on the spot. That's all it takes. I don't understand why people are struggling with this so much. It worked for me!

You see, back when I was your age, we had no iPhones or BlackBerries or whatever the hell they are now. We didn't even have the Internet! When we had a problem, we had to figure it out on our own. Meanwhile you young people when you have to change a lightbulb are totally clueless and have to use the Google or AIs to figure it out!
