Mia × Lakmē coming together 👀

Mia already teased it with “we have the same brand ambassador.” This crossover is going to be interesting.

[MOD NOTE] On Project Hype, Shipping Boundaries, and The Purpose of This Sub

Hi everyone, we wanted to step in after yesterday’s Ahaan-Sharvari edit and the follow-up Aneet-Vishal edit led to some confusion and unnecessary arguments.

This is, first and foremost, an Ahaan and Aneet fan space.

Yes, it is an Ahneet subreddit. Both their fan followings exploded after Saiyaara, and it made sense to create a shared space where people could discuss both actors without having to restrict themselves into not mentioning the other the way they might in solo subs.

And yes, since Ahaan and Aneet are widely speculated to be dating, this is also a shipping space. Conversations around tea, blind items, social media interactions, general gushing, vibes, gossip, and speculation are welcome here, as long as they remain healthy and good-faith - we intend to provide a safe space for gossip that less intense than the general Bollywood gossip subs, and we will always protect that intention.

But this is not solely a shipping sub.

A central purpose of this community is, and will always be, to support both actors’ careers. That includes their current and future projects, whether they are together or not.

That means hyping Ahaan’s project with Sharvari. That means hyping Aneet’s project with Vishal. That means supporting Fearless, Shakti Shalini, and any other projects they take on going forward.

This is important for all actors, but especially important at this early stage of their careers. Edits, fancams, clips, and hype posts are a huge part of how films build online momentum now. Viral edits can reach places even big marketing campaigns sometimes cannot. We want both of their upcoming films to do well, so the sub will continue to allow content that contributes to that hype.

That said, we want to clarify and assure you all on one boundary clearly:

This sub will never allow off-screen shipping edits of either actor with another co-star. We also will not host random fancast edits with people they have not actually signed projects with. For example, you will not see edits of Ahaan with someone like Pratibha, or Aneet with someone like Ishaan, unless and until they actually sign a project together.

However, on-screen edits with confirmed co-stars, or project-based discussions created to hype an actual film or pairing, are allowed and will continue to be allowed.

An Ahaan-Sharvari edit does not mean anyone here is shipping them off-screen. An Aneet-Vishal edit does not mean anyone here is shipping them off-screen. It simply means they have professional projects that deserve support, hype, and visibility.

If that kind of content makes you uncomfortable, please ignore those posts and engage with the many other updates, discussions, and Ahneet content shared here every day.

Going forward, please do not derail project-hype posts with accusations of bad faith or turn them into shipping arguments. You do not have to enjoy every post, you're even free to downvote those that upset you, but we do expect everyone to understand the difference between supporting an actor’s work and shipping them with a co-star.

This sub is here to support Ahaan and Aneet, both together and individually: their chemistry, their bond, their Saiyaara legacy, and their careers beyond it.

Mod Update: Aneet x Cadbury Perk 🍫

We’ve heard from reliable sources that Aneet is going to be the next brand ambassador for Cadbury Perk.

Perk has had some genuinely iconic, long-running partnerships over the years, starting with Preity Zinta, who became their first-ever brand ambassador when the chocolate launched in India in 1996 and stayed associated with the brand for 11 years. Most recently, Alia Bhatt has been the face of Perk since 2021. Aneet joining that little pantheon is a pretty cool thing!

From what we know, she shot the ad last week. We don’t know yet whether this was before or after the new hair, and we also don’t have a confirmed release date for the ad.

But either way, this is a big brand, a very recognizable legacy campaign, and an exciting next step for her. We’ll update if and when we hear more!!

Edited To Add: This also seems like a bit of a homecoming, since Aneet’s previously done an ad for Cadbury before during her ad days, alongside Abhay Verma. Fun fact, Preity too represented Perk before she ever debuted in Bollywood, and remained their BA for several years as she grew in the movies!
