How did this cosplayer get the video game mocap look and "feel" perfectly?

dont know if this is the best place to ask but if anyone possibly overlaps with mocapping and the game industry or would just know for some other reason explain the technicalities on how this looks so convincingly out of a game and how to achieve it?

is she like overcranking while recording and then just moving in a stiff enough way and then omitting the right frames in post, or is it mostly all carried by lighting, like what's up here

Guide for CEC on SteamOS from r/SteamOS

Apparently, we can't crosspost, so attempting to post this a second time. User jollyjorroger1997 posted an extensive guide on the SteamOS community showing how to roll CEC on a diy steam machine. I wish Valve was pushing this kind of update, but it's nice to see the community trying to address it.

I know Linus cited CEC as a big issue with SteamOS right now and this fix doesn't fully solve the problem since it's something you have to do on your own, but at least it's an option.

Here's hoping Valve gets this baked in at some point.
