Just finished my re-read of Outbound Flight, and had the thought - if Car'das is there to show us that Thrawn is smart, is Maris there to show us that Thrawn is... sexy?

Car'das' primary function in the story is for Thrawn to have someone to explain his thoughts processes to so we can see what a genius he is (much like Pellaeon and then Eli Vanto). Most of the scenes with Maris are just her fawning over how cultured and brilliant and fascinating he is and how much she "admires" him, and it makes her partner very jealous. I can't think of a reason for Zahn to spend so much time on this other than that he wants us to know that Thrawn can get it.

Like my bookmark?

Someone gave me this single CAH card and I thought this was an appropriate use :)

Also, I'm partway through The Lost Tribe of the Sith and I'm enjoying it SO much!!!

▲ 2 r/Endo

My doctor and I suspect I might have endo, but are not sure. I get really painful period cramps, but not a lot of the other symptoms of endo. I was put on the pill when I was 16 because I would miss days of school because I couldn't sit through class. I'm 36 now and have been getting through, but I am pushing through a lot of pain a lot of the time. I just have no frame of reference for what is a normal amount of pain for period cramps and how much pain would be reasonable to suspect endo?

My doctor suggested I try Orlissa to see if it helps me, but I'm really afraid of the side effects. I've seen very polarizing opinions, and it looks like it could either totally change my life or make things way worse. I just don't know how to gauge if it's worth the gamble.

Thanks for any advice!
