Bought this 2015 Altima SL with the 2.5L with 70k miles today. Haven’t got the carfax yet.

Bought this literally hours ago for 10k and under the hood it has a very high pitch noise that’s constant and I’m not sure if it gets louder with acceleration to further diagnose it as the cvt because when I accelerate it makes the sound it does in the second video.

EDIT
To clarify on the questions about not testing it more/having the carfax, If you care to read here goes nothing.
I’m 20 years old and I got my license back in January due to a legal issue from when I was literally 14 years old. Me and my dad agreed way before this or January that however much I saved towards buying my first car he would match it and HELP (Key word) buy it, like walk me through the process and no it wasn’t a miscommunication he himself said that word for word.

Instead of HELPING me buy a car. He said “I got a buddy who sells cars don’t worry” the “buddy” who apparently used to come over when I was a toddler. Sold me a bunk piece of shit 05 Trailblazer with an extended cab that looked SLIGHTLY rusty underneath, not after a curb it wasn’t. Everything you can imagine holding the tires on snapped or cracked in some way due to rust rot. After a long process of getting me a “replacement” which never happened because he tried to give me one with 200k miles instead of the original one with 100k for 6 grand as I bought it for. Long stort short and a couple arguments later he stopped responding and the small claims court shall ensue.

Now, after looking at deals on so many cars that are reliable and fun such as ( 07-08 Acura TL Type-S, 5.7 hemis, Lincoln towncars/continentals and crown vicks) he hit me up out of the blue today and got me this as a replacement that I need to pay a couple paychecks off on it with. Which I’m super grateful for BUT:

I brought up the CVT several times and he chopped it up to “runs good when I drove it so I’m not worried with the mileage” so I didn’t have time to explain the whole 60k mile rule to him. Though I later mentioned to him and his girlfriend about taking it to get a transmission fluid change they basically yelled at me and said I’m gonna fuck it up because that’s how transmissions blow up is when you put fluid in it🤦🤦🤦.

So that’s why I didn’t get the paperwork or anything I wasn’t there for it but we are going to get the title and spare key on a different day. Hopefully I can ask about it then.
