Update: Ok, I completely understand now. No. No one checks and really, there is too much to deal with. Some jurisdictions allow for this to help their members learn, I understand it after learning everything so far word by word from my mentor. If I had flash cards, I would probably be only working on movements. We do nothing because really how can you tell who it is from and where it is from? Some states do have the same words does not mean they have the same block on putting it out there.

So I have all the answers I need for this topic. Thanks to the brothers who were understanding what I was asking and for giving me straight forward answers and for the others that were more on the rude side, I really don't know what to say except I thought we were brothers and we are to help each other out when we have questions not tear the person down with rude and snarky responses.

So I am now more educated on this subject and maybe many others are as well. I will keep my obligation, like others have stated and I have edited the original posted removing the website.

I have found a few different spots it seems that some masons have been violating our obligation. I think I found two sites now... that are used to help people with flashcards with memorization... I can't remember the first site, I could maybe go through my history and find it, but the second one was on a website.

Does no one check for this or try and prevent this and then hold that brother responsible? were some places given a pass during covid because one I found was during covid-19 but, I would think that since we are told nothing can be written, stamped, etc, that this also would not be allowed?

Also if anything like this is found, do we do anything about it? Just search for JD and you will just see a bunch of things pop up. 266 pages. Now I didn't go though all of the pages to check them all but, is there anything that should be done?

It's sad that I have seemed to upset some brothers that they actually DOWNVOTED my question. Very disappointed.

Is there anyone that is a member of Richmond Randolph #19 Lodge in this subreddit? I have a common ancestor (cousins quite removed of course) to George Washington and Edmund Randolph through the De Neville family line. So it would be cool get to know anyone from there incase i can make it back out to DC and Virginia one of these years!
