Got my first Surly this spring and I’ve been having the time of my life commuting on it, but cleaning the drivetrain after any ride where it’s even a little wet outside is getting old! I really want to put these PDW fenders on, but I’m worried that my 2” tires won’t have enough clearance. They make a 2.5” version, but I’m not sure those will fit on the MS at all. Anyone have experience with these fenders on a MS with extra wide tires? Thanks!

I bought this bike last year and have been really enjoying riding it, but the longer I ride the more I think I’m not balancing on the saddle correctly. I tend to hunch my shoulders and end up putting a lot of my weight on the handlebars. This sometimes causes numbness in my arms or pain in my back.

I measured the seatpost length yesterday and got approximately 56cm. That seems to line up with the geometry chart from Fuji, and from what I can tell that is an appropriate size for me at 5’9”. I think I have my seat height correct, and recently replaced the saddle with one that is more comfortable for me. Are there other adjustments I should make, other things to test out? Thank you!!
