Just opened a brand new Bauer 14x20 1HP lathe I picked up a few days ago from Harbor Freight. It powers on and the RPM read 00 and it doesn’t spin at all.

I just want to make sure I’m not missing something stupid like a safety switch before I return it, which is already going to be a pain in the ass because I’ve gotta drive 45 minutes out of my way. No error codes or anything. When I turn it on, the display reads 00 RPM. If I spin the head stock by hand, the display does register and read that it is spinning. If I crank up the speed knob, nothing happens. No hum from the motor or anything. Belt tension looks good, power supply seems alright to me. Tried multiple outlets etc.

Should I be happy with my Panniculectomy and gynecomastia surgery results?

Because I'm not. The gyno definitely looks better but the shape is not uniform at all. My stomach (particularly considering how rough the healing was) doesn't look much different to me before and after the panniculectomy though.
