Is paying 2.5L worth it (tuition + caution+ mess). How is the internet connectivity? Electricity bill costly? Food?

Fresher here, is the placement scenario too worse?? i saw a lot seniors complaining on the reddit sub that half the recruiters aren't even visiting campuses anymore. Is the placement scenario really that dead. Should i start coding, dsa and prepare for placements or shall i prepare for higher studies(MTECH - GATE, MBA, Going abroad etc) correct me if i am wrong.

Why are most of the staffs so cocky, unkind and always arrogant. Teaching staffs are chill, the non teaching staffs like my hostel authorities, my proctor, swc ppl, gym authorities etc. They always show "😒" face expression. They react and converse with me as if i demanded them to give their wealth. They always try to cutoff the convo and show that they are busy all the time. It feels like they have personal vengeance towards 18-22 yr olds. I always bring up my most polite voice and they still get triggered. They need to understand that they are meant to guide us rather than showing unnecessary hate. Idk if its only with me. Special mentions: the guards are always chill and kind unless u forgot ur id.

Whats actually the difference between day scholars who availed bus services vs day scholars who use own transport (pg, bike, mtc bus). The only thing i know is day scholar with bus have advantage in ffcs if they maintain 85 percentage. What advantages and disadvantages do own transport or ppl have??

As a fresher and a hosteller how can i get out of the campus to watch a movie on 23rd july. what are the possible ways and how realistically can it work. It might sound silly but its really important for me to do this. (i live near velachery)
