Did this ever happen to you?
In Career mode i had to rescue/refuel this vessel from low Mun orbit using another vessel with grappling unit.
After all of that I land in a tree! Couldn't return to KSC as I was not yet on the ground.
While writing this post the thing wiggled itself lose with some random explosions... probably lost some more science. Could have turned of clipping, but, these type of things make me love KSP:-).
