My first granny square blanket. I wanted to make one ever since I saw the pattern book. I asked my daughter what she wanted and the verdict was very clear, a rainbow blanket!

I started in January and finished about a week ago. It took way longer than expected and I am in a bit of a creative burn-out atm. It's okay, it'll pass.

I love my daughter though. Once she picked up a square, studied it intently and said: 'Mom, it does not matter if you make a mistake or two. I won't see it anyway.' 🥲

Some patterns are adjusted to decrease the size and/or pattern (different hook, less stitches, other colours etc.), but most are the same. The border is moss stitch.
