I hope you like this new villain and her design! Read on for a little backstory!
Hailstorm, real name Naomi Washington, has always been a self absorbed and egomaniacal businesswoman who worked for the company Havok Industries, the same evil corp who experimented on Plasma Girl herself!
After learning Havok was responsible for giving PG powers, she demanded they find a way to give her special abilities too, or else she’d leak everything she had to the press. With the company already low in public relations, they didn’t have much choice.
Ending up with ice powers, Naomi went on a rampage, obsessed with getting people to love or fear her; or both. She ended up becoming jealous of Plasma Girl and the people’s adoration of her, determined to take her place in the spotlight.
With an icy attitude and an even colder heart, Hailstorm clashes with PG’s warm nature in epic battles around the city!

A few details: She’s an upbeat and charismatic superhero and college student in the coastal Marianna City! She was experimented on as a child, granting her awesome plasma powers!
She uses her abilities to help and inspire others, battling (and quipping at) various supervillains from mutant fish pirates to her own sister! But no matter what, she never, ever gives up 💪😎
