Moon Knight’s only appearance in the 1998 Avengers run (Issue #1)

Moon Knight’s only appearance in the 1998 Avengers run (Issue #1)

For context, Cap called together every past and present Avengers for a massive mission, but while Moon Knight answered the call, he didn’t actually attend the meeting.

I’m on issue 6 of the run and MK hasn’t been seen since, rip.

There we have it folks, January 12th is the first trade release

Couple interesting takeaways here. It seems like this arc with the Mansion Ravenous is gonna wrap up on #10. Really glad Marvel is doing a double sized trade.

This synopsis names Blade specifically. I wonder if he’s gonna play a critical role in the remaining 3 issues.

Also, “Vol. 1” means there’s more to come 🙏

One last thing: I want to encourage people to buy single issues as much as I can. The single issues is how you keep the series going, and if everyone were to trade-wait, the series would very quickly get cancelled. They’re also not expensive. As long as you don’t pull a ton of series, it’s only $5. This is the only monthly series I pull, I make the trip to the comic shop once a month literally just for this issue, and it’s very worth it imo. Plus, you also have some cool cover art to display. And now that I have all the issues, I don’t really care about the trade releasing, and can more comfortably wait the long haul for the next omnibus.

Just saying, if you want the series to keep going a long time, buying the single issues will help ensure it.

PSA: The Doctor Strange: Damnation mini mentioned in the latest issue is not worth reading (at least for Moon Knight)

He does literally nothing the entire series. He cracks a few jokes, and we see him fighting monsters with his fists several times and that is it. The story is kinda, eh, idk. It’s like a 2 or 3-way crossover with Doctor Strange and Ghost Rider and maybe someone else.

Kinda makes me mad that they include him just to have him do nothing. He does try to lift Thor’s hammer at one point, and >!he does pick it up! But it’s immediately pulled away and !< Moon Knight is forgotten about again.

Maybe it read’s better with the main Doctor Strange book at the time, but idk. I just wanted to see MK’s role in it.

Sound machines to cover up external sounds

My head races when I go to bed, and the new place I just moved into has a ton of external distractions. For example, the guy down the hall keeps his door wide open while he yells on the phone while watching Big Bang Theory, also he yells at the tv. The dog barks at literally every living creature he sees outside the window, or shadows if it’s upstairs. He barks outside and causes other dogs to bark. (My roommate’s only response is to yell “Shut up”, which, guess what that does. I’m also next to the laundry room.

My ex used to have an air purifier in our old room, and I kind of miss that noise. It was somewhat soothing. I would get another one, but the thing is, I’m a bookwork, and I have a full-size electric piano in my room, so I’m worried about the damage an air purifier might do to it.

Idk, I already have trouble sleeping without noise distractions, I could use any suggestions.

Also, I don’t use earplugs because they hurt my ears when left in overnight. I have ear problems I’m not gonna go into.

Not a drinker, but going through a break-up. This is all I have to drink in the house. Is there a miracle of a mix here, or should I just take shots of the gin? I haven’t drank in maybe over a year, and it was just vodka & OJ.

Haven’t drank in maybe over a year and it was just vodka/oj mainly.
