I keep this plant at my partners house so I didn’t catch it until now, it’s super cool! I’ve had a bifurcated leaf before but it was nothing like this! It’s like the petiole split in half right at the base of the leaf and grew two conjoined leaves.
I’ve been using all my scraps of Aida fabric to make little patches for my clothes. Here are a couple I made recently!
Each of these patterns were made by me, feel free to use them if you’d like! They’re all very simple so I’m not too worried about people replicating them. I think the flower is my favorite. Do y’all have any ideas for more patches? I have tons of minis I made but I’m running out of design ideas.
11 weeks ago I broke my pointer finger nail all the way down to a nub. I haven’t had a break this bad in a while and I wanted to ensure that I could have it back by my birthday. My birthday is coming up fast and I am proud to say it has come hack to its full glory! I had a chip last week so I lost some length, which means It’s still a teeny bit short compared to my other nails, but it should be full length by the time I turn 20.

Also please ignore the mess around my cuticles, I used a sponging method to get the glitter polish to layer nicely and I haven’t quite cleaned up yet. This is regular lacquer polish so it poses no risk, it just looks a little ugly.
My cat Sadie has a lot of weird toys that he’s found and began playing with - supervised of course. On this list are electrical cords, plastic bags, fabric tape measures (yes,multiple!), lint roller papers, towels, pipe cleaners,
The list goes on. There are certain toys that I take from him, like the cords, but he gets so much enrichment out of these things.
My question for yall is, are there any odd items that your kitty has claimed as their own, or does my cat just have pica or something haha? He genuinely gets obsessive about some of these ‘toys’ and I had to stop him from playing with them. Other ones I’ve had to hide and have only supervised, short playtime with them. He has a couple ‘normal’ cat toys he plays with, like springs, poofballs, the occasional wire bird toy or twine ball, but his favorites are always wakadoo choices, like literal packing tape.
This week I filed down the rest of my nails to more or less match the length of this one. My birthday is coming up in a month and my hope was to have it back by then, so I think I’ll achieve my goal!
