I don't use AI when creating cross stitch pattern
A Witchy house Halloweeny biscornu. I did this on 16 count zweigart aida which i love. I might do this one again on a dark fabric.
Have you ever used stitch fiddle for making patterns? I am finding some difficulty over there and now I wonder if there is another site that is more functional. NO apps, just sites. Any recommendations or insight as to using Stitch Fiddle? Specifically how to rotate stitches in the squares, or how to add stitches I need to the chart that aren't actually on the site? Thanks!
I recently had this piece for a friend's retirement custom framed and couldn't be happier with it!
It's 13.5x13.5 inches (framed 18x18) and is 1 over 1 on 22-count Aida (my eyes hate me).
The pattern is a bit weird: there is a talented linocut print-maker on Etsy (ArtByTamsin) who's work I wanted to convert to a pattern. I spoke to her and received her permission to use her work to generate a pattern. I had to buy the physical print to receive a PDF of her work, which I was more than happy with! I used FlossCross to turn her PDF into a pattern and went from there!

This thing took me almost 3 years of off- and on- work and I am going to have a hard time giving it away!
My next project is going to be a full coverage, 312x400 for a total of 125,200 stitches. 45,976 of those stitches are plain white thread. I'm using white Aida. Would you do all the white stitches or just leave them out? It's 17x22 inches on 18 count, so that works out to around 23 skeins of white floss. I'm inclined to say the heck with that, but I want it to look right, too. I plan to mat and frame when done. Opinions?

Halloween is one of the most fun and joyful Holidays for me! I love cooking with pumpkin, curving lantern, decorating our door and yard and, first of all stitching something new and spooky 😄 It's literally the most wonderful time of the year which I love no less that Christmas ❤️ And this project let me enjoying both of my favourite Holidays!
finally decided it was time to try it myself 😅 i think i did pretty good! I had to rework the mushroom jar size to be a bit smaller which was a challenge for my first time
