Halloween is one of the most fun and joyful Holidays for me! I love cooking with pumpkin, curving lantern, decorating our door and yard and, first of all stitching something new and spooky 😄 It's literally the most wonderful time of the year which I love no less that Christmas ❤️ And this project let me enjoying both of my favourite Holidays!
I'm cross stitching from 5 when mom showed me my first stitch and from those days cross stitching became my true passion! But many years had gone to my first effort to create something new by myself and my first design was a simple snowman ornament for out Christmas Tree. And from the moment I can say that process of inventing, stitching, finishing and, at last, putting ready things on our Christmas Tree is pure happiness for me ❤️ Here I'd love to show some of my many ornaments I made. I'm a huge fan of chocolate and picked this fabric for my new Christmas projects! Going to frame it and place in the centre of my Christmas table 😄 ) I just need to find more recipes including chocolate for my perfect feast dinner:)
I finished this Sunflower Mandala in the last days of Summer so I'm pleased thinking that these xxx will keep a bit of warmth and light while cold and dark of coming Winter) Going to sew a cushion for I could not only look on it, but hug :)
Every year I create new Christmas Trees: sometimes I was inspired by old books my mom read while we were sitting near our family Christmas Tree, sometimes I get an idea while walking modern streets of my native city Dnipro, sometimes, I see them in dreams. I also enjoy experimenting with threads and you can see designs created especially for variegated threads. I don't use AI in my work and each my Christmas Trees is stitched by myself. I love to renew pieces in my cross stitch bowl and after stitching all 7 days from Weekly Calendar series I can doo it every day) I should only watching my cats who are trying to put them in their own order :)
Variegated threads give us such a wide horizon or experimenting with shades and I'm absolutely in love in them! I always stitch my patterns before adding them to my collection and I do not use AI in creating of my designs. I can't travel this Summer, but while staying in city I was dreaming of beautiful meadows full of flowers and dragonflies
it's boiling outside, but stitching with these colours made me fill more fresh and comfortable)
