Afnan Supremacy Not Only Intense ( 04/2025 batch)
First of all, let me clear up the confusion: this isn’t the “oakmoss mud bomb” people make it out to be. It actually has a lot of character and depth to it.
Now hear me out.
Scent Profile :
Opening is absolutely phenomenal. Way better than opening of CDNIMPP
Opens up with fruity and juicy blackcurrant, bergamot and apple ( u know when u bite down those blackcurrant chunks on icecream, and u feel that juicy tarty zingy feeling?? Yeah this thing has that kinda feel to it).
U can also detect some degree of smokiness and a herbal/ green note too. ( I think its cuz of oakmoss).
In the air it smells absolutely phenomenal.
As it dries down, u gonna get hints of oakmoss, a bit of leather , fruits (resembling pineapple) and smokiness. Also a bit of saffron too ( I think thats what gives it a br540 touch )
Clarification : the Oakmoss present here is not like the one in Hawas black. It's subtle and non-aggressive.
In the farthest dry down, it smells a bit of creamy, musky and ambery on skin ( kinda like a lotion type) .
And this is one of those frags where you’ll actually notice the transitions prominently. Unlike a lot of cheapies, where the transitions either feel weird or happen way too fast.
My mom was the first person to compliment me right from the very first spray....maybe that's why I'm a bit biased ig 🤔. She literally said it smells like something expensive and there's something "fullness" or "completeness " to it 🤔
Perfomance:
4-5 hrs on skin , wayyyy longer on clothes and soft projection (since it's an extrait) but I'm currently living in a city where it's constantly like 40-42°C , 80-83% Humidity and atrocious AQI....so can't expect monstrous performance in such harsh conditions.
TL;DR: To me it's good frag that sits right between Aventus and Hacivat. A bit of a mature take ofc and if u like CDNIM, most probably u gonna like this too..
I'm gonna get CE next and will post a proper comparison between the two.
