Is an Autism reveal cake offensive?
I am almost 40 and I just received my official Autism (AuDHD) diagnosis.
I have silly humor and am embracing myself and my journey.
I've seen fancy and fun cakes that say, "Congrats it's Autism" on top. I was going to buy one to celebrate my official diagnosis and share on social as my coming out.
I'm also bi, and I wanted the inside of the cake to be rainbow.
I've been thinking though, is this offensive? Is it a bad idea?
I'm so conditioned to regret my transparency after the fact that now I'm second guessing expressing this in a somewhat silly and joyous manner.
What do you all think?
