My mom will be 76 year old this July. It’s her first time to go out of the country at 75. I have 9 siblings. It took her this long to celebrate out of the country kasi lagi nya inaalala mga kapatid ko (Im the 9th) at yung crops nya back in the province. When we were in the van going back to the city she, out of the blue, blurted out “Salamat sa’yo nak, na experience ko ang mga ito”. Got teary eyed.

It was mother’s day coincidentally.
