Question for Orphan Black audience

Hello. I was wondering if Orphan Black audience see it only like Sci-Fi entertainment, or are also discussing the possibility of this scenario existing in real life.

I was told there is something called the Clone Club based on Orphan Black where they discuss the show scientifically, not just artistically.

Jeans brands are swapping cotton for synthetic junk

Over the last couple of decades Jeans brands shifted away from 100% cotton denim. Most Jeans use polyester, elastane (spandex), or other synthetics for stretch, cheaper production. Only about a quarter of denim made today is still real cotton.

The synthetic fibers (especially elastane) break down fast with washing and wear. They start to sag at the knees and seat, pill, and develop holes in ways cotton doesn’t. Natural cotton jeans can last years if you don't tear them off intentionally.

If the Jeans label doesn't say 100% cotton, you’re getting the shorter-lived version of planned obsolescence based on quality obsolescence with intentional short product life cycle design.
