Any veterans here break into medical sales? Is Medical Sales College worth it?
Hey everyone,
I recently separated from the military and am trying to figure out my next career move. I also earned my bachelor’s degree in Human Biology while serving, and I’m looking for a way to stay connected to the medical field without going the traditional clinical route.
Medical sales seems like a great fit because it combines healthcare knowledge, communication, and relationship-building. The challenge is that I’m starting from scratch. I don’t have any connections in the industry and honestly don’t know the best way to get my foot in the door. I’ve been looking into Medical Sales College, but I'm trying to determine whether it’s truly worth the investment.
For any veterans who made the transition into medical or pharmaceutical sales:
i) Was Medical Sales College worth it?
ii) Did it help you land your first job?
iii) Are there veteran programs, SkillBridge opportunities, or organizations that helped you break into the field?
iv) If you could do it again, what path would you take?
I’m motivated and willing to put in the work, but I want to make sure I’m investing my time and money wisely. I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences and any advice you’d be willing to share. Thanks in advance.
