My Wellbutrin experience

I read a lot of experience posts on here before I started, so I figured I would share mine.

I was super hopeful after reading other people’s experiences and was looking forward to the “2 week breakthrough.” Unfortunately, it never came.

I started on 150mg mostly for depression, and for the first week, I could get out of bed and get to work on time for the first time in a long time. After a week or so of that, I had 3 days of a constant dull headache. When that subsided, so did the ability to get out of bed in the morning.

I stuck it out for about a month before moving to 300mg. Anddddd nothing changed. I still stuck it out for another month because some people just have delayed responses.

Now I’m about a week into weening off and there are still absolutely no symptoms. I don’t know if this is a common experience or not, but I might as well have been taking a sugar pill.

I had no change in mood, no change in appetite, no change in libido, and no change in nicotine cravings. I got a week of easily waking up and a few days of headaches, and that is my experience in a nutshell.

I hope those of you starting it have better luck.

So I’m not in a rush to purchase my next car, but need to start planning.

I’ve been driving a 2018 Honda Accord 2.0T Sport for about 3 years. I genuinely love the car. It has a perfect amount of power for a daily, and hits above its class. It’s been a blast surprising people with it.

However, it is getting some age on it and a few months ago, it blew a head gasket. I’ve gotten it fixed, but after that downtime and a sizable amount of money, I just don’t feel confident in it anymore. I’m scared that one day I’ll get into it a little too hard and be in the same situation.

All that to say; I want another quick car. It doesn’t need to be anything crazy. Turbocharged is preferred, and I mostly care about 0-60 as I’m not racing on the interstate, just some occasional spirited driving. So I would like it to be the same or better as my current car (5.5s).

The newer the better and the cheaper the better, but would like to keep it under $50k.

Edit for more info: Want to stick with automatic, sedan, no electric, rarely haul anything so a sedan with a decent trunk is plenty. AWD preferred, then FWD if not.
