Should I apply for re-evaluation? I feel like I was under-marked in some subjects, but I’m scared of losing marks instead

I barely crossed the 75% JEE eligibility criteria with 75.6%, and now I’m confused whether I should apply for re-evaluation or just move on.

Honestly, I expected around 80% initially (keeping somewhat higher expected marks in mind).

- In PHE, I got around 6–7 marks less than expected.

- Physics was okayish, but I still thought I’d get 3–4 marks more.

- Chemistry, maybe 2–3 marks more than what I got.

- Maths actually surprised me, I got around 5 marks higher than expected because I genuinely thought I would barely pass.

- English i got more than I expected so no issues in that.

Now that re-evaluation has become cheaper, I’ve been considering applying for it. But I’m really hesitant because I’ve heard stories of people losing marks after re-evaluation instead of gaining them, and I honestly don’t want to risk dropping below eligibility by chance.

Even if my marks increase to what I originally expected, I think my percentage would only go up to around 77–78% max.

What should I do? Should I just move on and not take the risk?

To every 10th topper that barely passed 12th, may we pass through this phase of everyone asking us our result 💔🥀
