I feel like I'm losing a lot of the pattern because the pale sections of the variegated colors line up too often.

Pattern is Sonrae by Jenn Steingass. Yarn is locally dyed Trilogy DK 80% SW merino/10% cashmere/10% nylon in Jewel and Rose Trellis. I added the color work on the bottom, changed the rolled edge cuffs to ribbed, and tried waist shaping for the first time to make the fit not so boxy. I'm not very happy with the fit of the yoke, the sleeves are way too low, but the collar is really comfortable and the color work came out well. I'll tuck it away for the summer and decide in the fall if I want to keep it or frog and redo.
