Places I visited in the video:
The Kruger National Park
The Pyramid of Giza
Glacier 3000
Boreo Jungle
Jackson Hole Airport
The Taj Mahal
Lake Louise
Perito Moreno Glacier
Monument Valley
Angkor Wat
Lake Kawaguchi
Neuschwanstein Castle
Nusatupe Airstrip
This footage was recorded on flat in order to best show off the locations without DFR blurring most of the screen. All locations look fantastic in VR (Beta Version). Also please note, big cities look terrible at ground level, but from the air they look great!
What a game, what more can I say, enjoy :)
Honestly, this game is absolutely incredible on PS5 Pro/PSVR2, and the crazy part, this is just one tiny island in the pacific…. imagine how many places there are to explore in the world, I mean having the ENTIRE PLANET in VR is still something that hasn’t ‘truly’ sunken in yet haha.
So far, I’ve climbed mountains like Mt Fuji, walked on the suspension bridge on top of Glacier 3000, got lost in the dense Borneo jungle, visited castles (from the outside) like Hohenwerfen in Austria, walked around Lake Königssee, Lake Bled, Monument Valley and the Dolomites, it’s endless lol. Watching the sunrise whilst sat on top of Mt Vesuvius, was just jaw dropping, and something I fully recommend you all check out at some point.
So yeah, you fancy a quick 30 minute holiday, put on your headset and go 👌
This footage was captured on flat in order to best show off the ‘location’ without DFR blurring most of the frame. Also please note, big cities using photogrammetry still look melted at ground level, luckily this is probably less than 5% of the map.
