"Americans today sound much closer to how Brits sounded pre-1776 than Brits do. The stereotypical British accent really came about quite recently, with most linguists believing even Shakespeare and his contemporaries would have sounded more like our American accent today

Commentator is American and once again thinks there's this big rivalry between the UK and Ireland. As a wrestling fan, I'd be happy for them to get it since it means easier travel for us Europeans (Until TKO go insane with the ticket prices).
