My DIY Squishy Made Me $100

This started because of my little sister being obsessed with Squishmallows, so I started making her little paper squishies instead of buying her more. I made her a SpongeBob and Patrick one, and she was so proud of them that she kept showing them to her friends.

A few of her friends got jealous and started asking why they didn’t have one too. Their moms started messaging me about making some for them, so I started charging $5 each. They can tell me what they like and I’ll draw it on the squishy. The bigger orders usually bring in around $50–$100, which is pretty good for something I started making for my little sister.

Which Products got you started with content creation?

I'd love to hear about people's first venture into UGC, what sort of products you started out with and what was the experience like overall for you. I'd love to see a discussion on this since I'm curious

I'm curious what you guys personally use MCP for

I think we already know the many benefits it entails like it saves time by removing repetitive tasks, reduces repetitive prompts, works reliably,is actively maintained, performs well, has clear documentation, and is safe to use among many other things.

But I'm curious how others personally use it in their day to day lives

Endless Paradox

Humans having all sorts of knowledge while at the same time having an imperfect amount of it, at the same time. An endless paradox, don't you think? This is probably why AI works the way it does right now since as much as there has been lots of information collected all over the years there are still so much we have yet to know in this world (that we're still discovering and studying about), at the same time.

Let me know your thoughts

I have decided that cutting my hair during exam season is a terrible idea.

They say hair holds memory, so I started thinking about this after one of my exams last semester. I had barely slept, and I was convinced I had forgotten half the material. Please don't laugh at me with this idea LMAO maybe I took it a little too literal, but I truly cherish sayings like these ><

I am currently letting my hair grow until exams are over. It costs me nothing, so why not. I already have enough things to worry about.

Little superstitions like this remind me of the old sayings, maybe we can make this a modern one? Applicable to students ofcourse. Yeah I guess it does not do anything. Who knows. Best case: I pass everything and become completely convinced this was the reason. Worst case: nothing? I mean, I grew my hair longer XD

On face value this is true, but really most of the time the situation is reversed

I turned my bathroom into a study hall every finals and it actually worked.

Studying in my room always makes me feel lazy and ends up with me falling asleep rather than studying. Meanwhile, public libraries give me way too much anxiety to actually focus.

That's why I ended up turning my bathroom into my main study space. I wrote down all my notes on my shower wall, then passively read and did active recall while taking a shower or just using the bathroom.

It somehow forced me to study better than sitting at a desk for hours. It sounds crazy, but trying something different place completely saved my grades last semester.

Do you guys have a specific area to study that is more comfortable than your study table or libraries?

Talking to my plushie helps me study more effectively.

I’m too socially awkward to join a study group, I feel self-conscious studying around other people, which makes me completely lose my focus and forget what I'm trying to study.

So when I am studying for exams, I use the Feynman Technique by teaching my plushie like an actual student. Surprisingly, it really helps me retain more information because I’m actively explaining and refining the topic.

I think my plushie is now learning more math everyday at this point!
