Might Quit Carnivore, Please Help

Been strict carnivore for 8months now; I'm 19M, and the biggest problem I've had with the diet is waking up fatigued, tired and not well-rested, along with low energy during the day. I fall asleep quickly and for a good 6-8 hours long.

All the things I've tried to fix this issue:

More salt on food, salt water, saltwater with potassium, electroltyes in morning, day, night etc, magnesium, less fat, high fat, VERY high fat, more protein, less protein, pushing regular cals, push high cal up to 3-4k cals, earlier meal times, later meal time, very early meal times, multiple meal times, only beef, only striploins, less water intake, more water intake, excerise, cardio, weightlifting etc etc...,

The only thing I have not tried is adding carbs and becoming animal-based. I've basically tried everything else. Any advice?

Transition back to regular diet

Going to uni in September and needa go back to regular diet, im afraid of adding carbs as I hear many people get bad anxiety, brain fog, tired weird symptoms after adding carbs, even safe ones I hear like rice or fruits. Wish I could keep doing carnivore but wouldnt be able to afford it during uni.

I recently had some meat with a BBQ sauce or sum, and cevichie which is Talapia fish with lemon and onions. And I didnt have alot but afterwards I got super tired, got anxious, dpdr, and felt weird af. The same way id feel before I started carnivore usually.

Additionally, I started carnivore to fix years of sleep probelms and insomnia, and im also afraid adding carbs will screw with all the progress ive made with my sleep.

Don't know how to go about this. Any advice would rlly help

Which program should I pick

I got into Laurier Health Sci, Guelph Biological Sciences, Waterloo life Sciences, Brock Medical Science.

I want to go to Medical school, and want to make sure I make the right choice. Any suggestions for which program I should accept. And which ones to avoid.

Also if anyone has been in these programs I would really appreciate any stories or experiences you had with the programs, likes or dislikes. And why you picked it.

Cant sleep, burping all night

Cant sleep all night. My last meal is done around 8pm, I eat high fat, and enough cals. This suddenly started happening and ive been carnivore for about 6months now. I stay awake all night burping, sitting up right, and even when I do lie down I cant sleep. My heart rate regular, seems fine. Don't know why its happening.

Any advice?

Sleep problems and thinking of adding carbs

Been carnivore for 7months. Started this diet to fix my sleep insomia. Its really has helped me to fall asleep and sleep for good amount of hours. But these past 7months I basically have never woken up feeling refreshed or with energy or clarity. I often wake up exhausted, or not well rested. I added salt water and magnesium, and it helped me fall asleep faster and sleep longer. But suddenly it stopped working, it worked so well for falling asleep and staying asleep, and now it doesnt aid my sleep anymore. Has this happend to anyone?

But even with the salt water and magnesium I still wake up exhausted and not mentally recovered. On my last straw, dont know what else to try. And yes I eat enough fat and cals, I can confirm, with 1-2 meals a day, and my last meal is 5hrs before bed.

Side note: one night I took sleep pill (nytol), I took it because I couldn't fall asleep all night even after drinking salt water, and I only slept 5hours, but those 5 hours made me feel mentally better than the typical 7-8 hours I usually sleep on carnivore.

Should I add carbs? If yes, what kind? Will I feel bad if I add carbs like fruit and honey or any carbs in general?

Sleeping enough but waking up exhausted

I've been carnivore for around 7 months now and originally went on this diet to improve my sleep. It helped alot, but I almost always wake up exhausted, fatigued, tired, not well rested and foggy. I usually sleep long enough hours like 6-8 hours. I go to sleep at 3-4am, wake up st 11-12am. I definitely feel like I eat enough fat, I do a 80% fat to protien, and definitely eat enough total cals. I finish my last meal about 4-5 hours before bed. And I don't drink coffee. Any suggestions or advice help.

Im 7 month in carnivore diet and all of a sudden l've been getting increased heart rate during night, and during days too I think. but 1 dont reallv notice during dav. My Body feel wired before bed, like my nervous system is over active, my heart beat harder and a bit faster, and has caused me to barely sleep, averaging 2-3 hours of sleep a night this past week. I never had this problem before it just randomly happend. tried electrolytes, upping fat earlier meal times, spilling meals, nothings working. I eat usually around a 80% fat, and like 3k cals per day. im 18 yr old male. idk if this is like heart palpitations or tachvcardia, or idk. I iust feels like something is iust turning my body on, keeping me awake even when im tired.

In the past I've felt this sensation of my body feeling nervouslv active and wired. and its alwavs been because of undereating or not having enough fat. But I feel like iam eating enough of both with proper ratio, cause ive been good for the past 7 months prior to this

I've been on carnivore for 8 months now, and have had great success. I started the diet because in the past I've had chronic sleep debt and insomnia. The diet really helped my overall health and wellbeing.

My typically everyday meal: 3k cals, strict carnivore, around 80% fat:

striplion, eggs, bacon, and 130-160g of cow fat trimmings. Eat around 6-8pm. and aim to sleep around 1-2am.

This meal has never caused any problems that I couldn't fix. And has worked pretty well for me.

The problem that started 9 days ago caused racing heart for most of the night, wide awake eyes, and a complete lack of sleep, averaging 2-3 hours of sleep for the past 9 days.

The day it started I was at work and was rushing to finish my dinner before 8pm, because meals later than 8ish pm usually effect my sleep. Rushing the meal made me barely chew any of the fat or food I ate, and made me cram most of my dinner in about 1hr. I had never rushed a meal to this extent before.

I suspect that must of been the cause because its happened before but on a way smaller scale and not as impacting, and usually resolved in a day or 2.

The real problem is its been 9 days of this shit, barely sleeping, and fast heart rate during majority of the night, and burping too. It feels like a digestion problem, like my stomach is trying to digest the fat for 10+hrs, but I could be wrong. online people seems to point to electrolytes, or meal timing, but not sure what to increase or decrease.

The past 9 days I've tried waking up earlier, adding potassium and salt 1 day, did a 1 day water fast and threw up in night, and just waiting it out. Nothings worked

Im not sure what to do, this problem has caused anxiety and alot of stress. Anyone experience this, need advice.
