I did the dumbest thing the other night

I did a test because why not.. and a faint test line showed up. I was shocked! It took us a year and a half to conceive our first child, with an endo diagnosis after lap surgery, and then husband having MFI (which he improved with diet) and about to start ICSI...

I did 2 more tests, was ecstatic! On the 4 month, thought amazing! I don't have to go through all this again since the first journey put me off trying for a second. Was planning on seeing fertility specialist at 6 month mark as well.

Called son and husband into the bathroom excitedly, husband said "I think I know what this is" on his way in. Had a look at the tests and asked "What does this mean?" I stated the obvious, "I'm pregnant!?" He said "Isn't that an ovulation test?"

My heart sunk. He was indeed correct. In my habitual state, I grabbed LH tests and didn't think twice. I murmured never mind, did a HCG test, and it was negative.

Those few moments of happiness were amazing... I hope to feel it soon.
