AIO because my manager keeps scheduling me Sundays after promising them off when hiring me?

I need outside opinions because I feel like I’m going crazy over this.

When I got hired at my job, I specifically discussed having Sundays off for church with the manager who hired me. She recently told me she clearly remembers that conversation too.

I’ve now worked there for 2 months and have not had a single Sunday off. They let me leave at 11am, but church starts at 12 and I still have to drive home, shower, and get ready, so it’s really not enough time.

I’ve brought it up multiple times to the store manager, and she kept telling me once they hired someone new, she’d be able to give me Sundays off. They finally hired someone new… and that new person immediately got Sundays off while I still didn’t.

I texted the hiring manager about it last week, and she spoke to the store manager. Today she told me the store manager claimed I said I had open availability, which upset the hiring manager because she remembers me specifically saying I needed Sundays off for church when I was hired.

At this point, I’m honestly frustrated because I’ve tried to stay patient and flexible for the past two months, and I’ve already told them I’m not available Sundays, but they continue scheduling me anyway. I’m considering calling out this Sunday because I feel like the agreement made when I was hired just isn’t being respected anymore. Am I overreacting?
