DEL to JFK/EWR with 1 hour refuel layover in Rome - Do passengers get out or stay in plane?
I noticed that there is no direct flight to EWR or JFK. It says refueling stop - like the one from 60s and 70s!? I think it's due to middle east conflict; however, they can fly directly from US to India without refueling!
Do they keep passengers inside the plane or they've to come out and again board?
EDIT - another question - the flight duration has increased from usual 15-16 hours to now 10 hours each let (ie. total of 20 hours). Are they keeping the buffer for delays OR is the diversion from regular route adding few hours more?
