Tdap Vaccine

I got a great job working as a youth assistant. I’ve been working in the infant room for a couple weeks when I overheard flu and tdap vaccines are mandatory for working in the infant room. I brought this up to my boss and pretty much the doctor on base messed up my papers and she said okay order a flu shot. I immediately said I dont want a flu shot because I have never received a flu shot and don’t want one. She did say she brought it up in the interview which I do remember but I think I was so nervous my brain just skipped right past it. But I told her I can get the flu vaccine because I sort of felt guilted into it honestly. She told me I would lose significant hours if I chose not to be vaccinated. She then brings up Tdap. Now I do remember this being brought up in the interview but since I saw the immunization on my chart I figured I didn’t need it. But now I need a booster for it… which I didn’t know! I got the Tdap at 11 years old for 6th grade and was sick for like 2 weeks straight and don’t want to go through that again. I just need advice.. I’m such a people pleaser but I don’t want to get a cocktail of vaccines because my job says so. Has anyone experienced something like this?
